Patents Assigned to Mitsubshi Denki Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 6643217
Abstract: In a test mode, read data is output from a memory array with each of N latch circuits in an output circuit being set to an operating state under the control of a latency setting circuit. Thus, the data transmission period can be set shorter in the test mode than in a normal data reading operation, and a time required for testing the read data in the test mode is shortened.

  • Patent number: 6522672
Abstract: The multiplexer device comprises a multiplexing means for multiplexing a plurality types of media information and outputting a multiplexed bit stream, a priority deciding means for deciding priority corresponding to each of the media information, and a multiplexing controller for controlling multiplexing of each of the media information according to the multiplexing means based on the priority decided by the priority deciding means. In addition the priority in each information is multiplexed.

  • Patent number: 6469327
Abstract: Pads are alignedly arranged in a central region of a semiconductor chip and are also arranged at an outer peripheral portion of the central portion of the chip. A pad at the outer peripheral portion is electrically connected to a die pad mounting the chip thereon with an insulative material interposed therebetween. A potential supplied to the pad positioned at the outer peripheral portion can be stabilized by parasitic capacitance of the die pad, and a potential of the die pad can be externally monitored easily by removing away a portion of mold resin after resin sealing. Further, due to a cress shaped arrangement of the pads, a voltage down converter can be arranged in line with the pads and at outer periphery of the chip without area penalty. In testing operation, a switching circuit switches a function of a pad to another pad so that cross-shapedly arranged pads are equivalently arranged in a line.

  • Patent number: 6376961
Abstract: The invention provides a coil member of rotating electrical machinery, by which improvements in the mass production and downsizing thereof are enabled, which is a coil assembly for rotating electrical machinery, consisting of a plurality of coil combinations mounted at iron core slots, wherein the respective coil combinations 14 are inserted into slots at pitches equivalent to an appointed number of slots, and are formed of an integral coil member 21 in which the first and the second linear portions 21A and 21B alternately disposed at the inner layer side and the outer layer side in the slots, and the first and the second turning portions 21C and 21D for connecting the first and second linear portions 21A and 21B adjacent to each other outward of one end side and outward of the other end side in the lengthwise direction of the slots are integrated together.

  • Patent number: 6265991
Abstract: A vehicular front monitoring apparatus which can reliably recognize a road configuration ahead of an own-vehicle through simpler computation. The apparatus comprises a distance measuring unit for radiating electromagnetic waves or the likes in plural directions, and detecting distances from an own-vehicle to a plurality of objects around the own-vehicle and lateral positions of the objects relative to a running direction of the own-vehicle, thereby measuring object positional data on coordinates defined by the running direction and a transverse direction of the own-vehicle; a road curvature estimating unit for estimating a curvature of a road ahead of the own-vehicle through Hough transform of the object positional data measured by the distance measuring unit; and a vehicle's own lane determining unit for determining whether other vehicles running ahead are in the same lane as the own-vehicle or not based on the curvature of the road estimated by the road curvature estimating unit.

  • Patent number: 5841474
Abstract: In a high-efficiency encoder which performs motion-compensation prediction, an intra-field is set every n fields. The presence of a scene change is detected. When a scene change occurs, a reference picture of motion-compensation prediction is switched, or the field immediately after the scene change is set as an intra-field.
