Abstract: There is provided a rearward displacement prevention mechanism for a control pedal, which is constructed such that a front end of a pedal bracket supporting a control pedal such that the control pedal is capable of pivoting is connected to a vehicle compartment side of a dash panel that separates an engine room and a vehicle compartment from each other, a rear end of the pedal bracket is mounted on a cowl top panel disposed at the upper side of the dash panel via a releasing mechanism, and a regulating device is provided in the vehicle compartment to be opposed to the cowl top panel. With this arrangement, the pedal bracket can be surely released by operation of the releasing mechanism even in the case where the cowl top panel and the dash panel are moved rearward at the same time.

Abstract: A pair of vertical guide rails of a workpiece transporting system are comprised of upper and lower rail portions, the upper rail portions being movable into axial alignment with the lower rail portions, the upper and lower rail portions being supported from a ceiling member of a building, and thus movable in unison with each other in the event of movement of the ceiling member of the building. A joint between the upper and lower rail portions of one guide rail is arranged at a vertical height different from that of the joint between the upper and lower rail portions of the other guide rail.

Abstract: In an operation control method of an engine using a mixed fuel of a mixture of a plurality of fuels having different properties, operation condition of the engine being controlled according to a detection signal from a fuel blend ratio detector for detecting the blend ratio of the plurality of fuels in the mixed fuel, and when a malfunction occurs in the detection by the fuel blend ratio detector, the engine is provided with blend ratio storage for storing a plurality of emergency blend ratios for ignition timing control and for air fuel ratio control, and operation condition of the engine is controlled according to the plurality of emergency blend ratios.
