    Abstract: A search result management system manages search results provided by each of a plurality of remote search engines and provides targeted advertisement content. The system comprises a search result management component capturing at least one search session executed by a first user interface object. Capturing the search session comprises capturing at least one query session. Capturing each query session comprises: i) capturing a search query posted to a selected search engine; and ii) capturing at one search result item returned by the selected search engine. A user interface object generates an advertisement request to a distribution object and receives an advertisement impression from the distribution object. The advertisement request includes at least on equerry parameter derived from the captured search query.

    Abstract: A method for generating an advertisement impression which moves a selected instance of advertisement content in conjunction with a mouse pointer on a client rendering system includes defining, in a placement database, a plurality of instances of advertisement content. Each instance of advertisement content is associated with an advertisement category, a financial parameter, and response data. A selected instance of advertisement content is selected from the placement database. The selected instance of advertisement content is one of the plurality of instances of advertisement content that is associated with an advertisement category meeting selection criteria and a financial parameter meeting selection criteria. The selected instance of advertisement content is combined with pointer tracking instructions to generate the advertisement impression.

    Abstract: An advertising system provides content relevant advertisements to a client system for rendering in association with an instance of distributed content. The advertising system comprises a web server receiving content requests and redirect requests from the client system. Each content request includes: i) a unique identifier distinguishing the instance of distributed content from other instances of distributed content; ii) a template identifier identifying predetermined image map attributes of a predetermined image map defined within the distributed content; and ii) a search parameter. An advertisement content rendering object receives each content request and in response thereto, returns a rendering of each of a plurality of instances of advertising content in accordance the image map attributes associated with the template identifier. A redirect database maintains, in association with the unique identifier, redirect data and a financial parameter associated with each instance of advertising content.
