Abstract: In the dispensing device, preferably a double cartridge (1) having a stopper and a locking ring provided with bayonet connecting means, the stopper (7), the external surfaces of the cartridge outlets (4, 5), and the wall interior of the locking ring (6,) comprise mutually cooperating means (17, 26; 18, 27) for pressing the stopper into the outlets or pulling it out from the outlets as the locking ring is rotated. On one hand, this allows to obtain a tight closure, and on the other hand, it is very simple in this manner to pull out the tightly fitting stopper.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dispensing device comprising a dispense mechanism and a multicomponent syringe. The fastening parts of the syringe are embodied such that the syringe can be inserted into a holder on the dispense mechanism on the plane of the reservoirs thereof and perpendicular to the plane formed by the handle and the triggering lever of the dispense mechanism. The fastening means on the syringe and the insertion opening on the syringe holder of the dispense mechanism are provided with coding elements that ensure that the syringe is inserted in only one direction, thus preventing non-certified syringes from being dispensed by means of such a dispense mechanism. In a preferred embodiment, ergonomically shaped syringe flanges can optionally be used for dispensing the syringe in an optimal manner by hand with the aid of a dispense mechanism.

Abstract: A dynamic mixer configured to a double cartridge or a dispensing appliance, wherein the mixer includes two similarly configured inlets that are configured to connect to respective outlets of the double cartridge or the dispensing appliance, the outlets having either equal diameters wherein the inlets are inserted into the outlets of equal diameters, or the outlets have different diameters wherein one of the inlets fits over a smaller one of the outlets while another of the inlets fits into a larger one of the outlets. In another embodiment of the present invention, there is a dynamic mixer assembly including a dynamic mixer as just described, further attached to a double cartridge or a dispensing appliance.

Abstract: The cartridge dispenser comprises a double cartridge having two cylindrical containers of different cross-sections, a drive for a dynamic mixer, and a housing base in which the drive shaft of the dynamic mixer is arranged in a longitudinally displaceable manner. The mixer drive shaft is guided in a laterally displaceable manner such that the driver of the mixer drive shaft is situated on the center axis of the mixer rotor independently of the cross-sectional ratio of the containers of the double cartridge. The mixer is located on the center axis which extends between the outlets of the containers. The mixer drive shaft is automatically forced to the correct position when a double cartridge is inserted. Consequently, the driver is always correctly aligned to the mixer rotor. Suitable means in the housing base always provide a correct location of the cartridges, and in a preferred embodiment, the mixer can be attached to the cartridge without the need of being previously oriented.

Abstract: A bayonet attachment on a cartridge for attaching a mixer or accessory to a multiple component cartridge is formed as a ring-shaped bayonet socket with two internal recesses and two diametrically opposed cutouts forming one bayonet coupling part, whereas the bayonet attachment of the mixer or accessory comprises two bayonet lugs corresponding to the cutouts. In a preferred embodiment, the respective inlets of the mixer housing or the outlets of the cartridge have different sizes or shapes to provide coded alignment between the cartridge and the mixer.

Abstract: A dispensing device includes a cartridge, a mixer, a threaded coupling ring, and complementary coding elements formed on the cartridge and mixer. The cartridge includes a plurality of chambers each having an outlet, and a flange comprised of a thread. The mixer is comprised of a housing with a plurality of inlets corresponding in number to the outlets. Each inlet is configured to engage a respective one of the outlets and a mixer element disposed in the housing. The coding elements permit the inlets of the mixer to be aligned and connected to the respective outlets of the cartridge in only one orientation.

Abstract: A package assembly is provided for use within a reusable cartridge for dispensing at least one component. The package assembly includes a container with a thin, flexible membrane wall with an open end, and a front outlet to which the open end of the membrane container is secured by a ring-shaped sealing element. This membrane container outlet end allows conventional filling of the container and a perfect seal at the front outlet.
