    Abstract: A cutting tool such as a pair of scissors including two main cutting bodies that have blade portions and connected so as to pivot relative to each other about a pivot shaft. A spring is disposed in a space formed by the recessed portions formed in inside surfaces of the main cutting bodies so as to surround shaft holes of the main cutting bodies. The spring has two operating ends each acting on some point inside the separate recessed portion of each one of the main cutting bodies so as to apply a driving force that opens the blade portions.
