    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a container capable of stably supporting an internal structure unit while effectively suppressing the occurrence of damage, and a method for manufacturing the container. The container includes: a container main unit that includes a cylindrical base portion, dome portions that have a dome-like shape and are provided at both ends of the base portion, and a tubular first ferrule portion and a tubular second ferrule portion that have communicating holes formed at top portions of the respective dome portions to connect the inside and the outside, and are formed along the axis of the base portion; and an internal structure unit that is housed in the container main unit. The internal structure unit includes a free shaft portion provided on one end side along the axis of the base portion, and a fixed shaft portion provided on the other end side along the axis of the base portion.
