Patent number: 7987752Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present technology provide systems and methods for delivering pressurized fluid to a rotary cutting blade. For example, in certain embodiments, a system for delivering pressurized fluid to a rotary cutting blade includes: a pump configured to receive fluid from a fluid source and pressurize the fluid; and a nozzle configured to receive pressurized fluid from the pump and deliver the pressurized fluid to a rotary cutting blade as an atomized fluid stream, wherein the pump pressurizes the fluid to a pressure sufficient to cause the fluid to be atomized when the fluid is passed through the nozzle. For example, in certain embodiments, a method for delivering pressurized fluid to a rotary cutting blade includes: delivering fluid to a pump; pressurizing the fluid using the pump; and delivering the pressurized fluid to a rotary cutting blade through a nozzle as an atomized fluid stream.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2008Date of Patent: August 2, 2011Assignee: MK Diamond Products, Inc.Inventors: Shawn Tsung, Rocci Merlo, John E. Patent number: 7490599Abstract: The cutting apparatus of the present invention includes a frame with first and second side members that lie parallel to one another. It also includes two or more cross-members that connect the first and second side members together as well as a cantilever member that lies mounted to one of the other members and extends outwardly of that other member. A tray movably mounted on the frame holds an object for cutting; and a motor and blade assembly mounted to the cantilever member cuts the object. The method of forming this apparatus includes forming openings in the side members and inserting end portions of the cross-members into the opening to form a frame in which the cross-members are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the side members.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2007Date of Patent: February 17, 2009Assignee: MK Diamond Products, Inc.Inventor: Anthony J Governo

Patent number: 7255355Abstract: A portable collapsible stand includes first, second, and third support frames, a work surface frame, and a telescoping strut pivotably connected to the first and work surface frames. The second frame projects perpendicularly from a lower portion of the first frame. A first end of the third frame is rotatably connected to an upper portion of the first frame such that the third frame pivots from a first parallel position to a second perpendicular position with respect to the first frame. An upper portion of the work surface frame is rotatably connected to the upper portion of the first frame. In operation, the stand can assume a collapsed position in which the first, third and work surface frames are generally parallel, and an operating position in which the third frame and first frame are perpendicular and the work surface frame and surface supporting the stand are parallel.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 2005Date of Patent: August 14, 2007Assignee: MK Diamond Products, Inc.Inventors: John Chisholm, Shawn Tsung, Paulo Carrolo
