Abstract: Systems and method are provided for adaptive dashboards, wayfinding, and other services at an event venue. The systems and methods involve transmitting beacon messages using short-range wireless communications from a plurality of beacon devices provided at the event venue, wherein each beacon message comprises location identification information. The systems and method further involve processing using a module on a mobile electronic device beacon messages received by the mobile electronic device by comparing beacon identification information included as part of the beacon messages to beacon information stored on the mobile electronic device. The system and methods further involve displaying an adaptive dashboard, wayfinding information, or other event venue information to a user of the mobile electronic device based on the processing of beacon messages received by the mobile electronic device.

Abstract: Systems and methods of transmitting data packets in a live data feed are provided. A live data processing system receives a plurality of tracking data packets that are obtained using radar devices and image capturing devices. The live data processing system determines that a particular tracking data packet is missing from the plurality of tracking data packets based on a predetermined order for receiving the plurality of tracking data packets. The live data processing system queues the plurality of tracking data packets. The live data processing system generates a plurality of message packets based on the plurality of tracking data packets and the particular tracking data packet that is received after receiving the plurality of tracking data packets. The live data processing system transmits, in the live data feed, the plurality of message packets in the predetermined order to a plurality of devices for display.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing information includes generating media corresponding to a program. One or more media timestamps are associated with the media. Data corresponding to the program is also generated. One or more data timestamps are associated with the data. At least a portion of the media is provided for presentation on a computing device. A current media timestamp corresponding to currently playing media is received. Data having a greatest data timestamp that is less than or equal to the current media timestamp is identified based at least in part on a comparison of the current media timestamp to the one or more data timestamps. The identified data is provided for presentation on the computing device.

Abstract: A method for managing media rights of content recorded at a venue may include arranging physical identifiers at selected locations around the venue; and recording an image of an event occurring within the venue, wherein the image includes one or more of the physical identifiers, wherein processing of the image permits the physical identifiers to be used to identify the image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting sports data is provided. A server receives raw game data relating to a sporting event. The server determines whether the raw game data satisfies at least one predefined criterion in a plurality of predefined rules. Responsive to determining that the raw game data satisfies at least one predefined criterion in the plurality of predefined rules, the server generates game commentary data comprising text related to action occurring during the sporting event. The server provides the generated game commentary data to an electronic user device for display.

Abstract: A method for providing mobile messages includes generating a message based on received content. A first functional bind to an aggregator is identified. A second functional bind to the aggregator is also identified. The first functional bind and the second functional bind are distinct communication connections to the aggregator. First message recipients are associated with the first functional bind, and second message recipients are associated with the second functional bind. The message is provided in parallel to the aggregator for the first message recipients through the first functional bind and for the second message recipients through the second functional bind.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a novel approach for content protection. Specifically, various embodiments employ data feeds to continuously or periodically inform placeshifting devices of protected content. The placeshifting devices then filter or otherwise block the protected content from being re-transmitted over a network based on this information. In some embodiments, the data feeds take the form of Really Simple Syndicating (RSS) or Atom feeds. These data feeds may carry information about the protected content, such as the time, the title, and the channel of specific audio/video protected content. Based on this information, the placeshifting device can determine which content is protected and not eligible for re-transmission.

The second estimate includes a second confidence determination for comparison to a second established confidence level. The first estimate and the second estimate define a composite estimated geographic location of the computer. Information on a second geographic location of the rules based event is retrieved. The retrieved information is compared with the composite estimated geographic location of the computer. Access to the rules based event is provided based on access rules, the comparison, and the composite estimated geographic location.

Abstract: Embodiments provide for outputting video and allowing a user to switch between different audio steams in a synchronous manner without impacting the timeline of the audio presentation. The audio and video streams may be directed to a single sporting event. For example, a user can view video associated with a national television broadcast of a baseball game, and switch between the audio from the national broadcast and the audio from the radio broadcast. Similarly, the user can view video associated with a local television broadcast, and switch between the audio from the national, regional, and/or radio broadcast. As any sport fan would appreciate, such flexibility enables users to watch the video with, e.g., the best quality and camera angle, while at the same time listening to the audio or broadcaster they find the most appealing.

Abstract: A system is provided for selectively presenting a portion of an event to a user. The system includes a first device, a second device, and a network allowing communication between the first and the second device. An application at the first device displays a plurality of sub-events that characterize an event; receives an input from a user whereby the user selects a sub-event from the plurality of sub-events; sends a request to a second device, the request comprising information associated with the selected sub-event; receives media data from the second device whereby the media data represents the selected sub-event; and presents the received media data. An application at the second device receives the request from the first device, selects the media data that represents the selected sub-event from a database using the information associated with the selected sub-event, and sends the selected media data to the first device.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling multiple access to a network service to prevent fraudulent use of the network service. The method includes identifying an account access counter for an account using identification information received from a user at a first device using a network, wherein the user is requesting access to a service provided at a second device, and further wherein the account access counter is the number of service access sessions active for the account; comparing the account access counter to a maximum account access number, wherein the maximum account access number defines a maximum number of service access sessions allowed for the account; and providing the user at the first device access to the service at the second device if the account access counter is less than the maximum account access number.

Abstract: A campaigning method may include collecting simulated vote totals of candidates in simulated campaigns for a plurality of users; tracking, by a server, performances of the campaigns of each of the users; maintaining a database in the server for the campaigns, each campaign associated with data; receiving a request for a screen from a requesting user of the users; generating the screen based on the database for display on a computer of the user to display the data for the campaign of the user and to provide a link associated with the user that allows voters to vote for the candidate associated with the campaign of the user; providing an interface associated with the link that enables the voters to submit a vote for the candidate to update the data in the database; and generating a status screen based on the updated data for display on a computer.

The method comprises presenting a first content in a first location in an application window of an application and presenting a second content in a second location in the application window of the application. The method further comprises receiving a user action and determining whether at least a portion of the first content will be obstructed due to the user action. The method further comprises presenting the first content in the second location based on a comparison of a first content priority value assigned to the first content and a second content priority value assigned to the second content in accordance with the determination.
