Abstract: A seat suspension assembly is disclosed for a bicycle having an upper horizontal frame member. A boom member is pivotally attached at its front end adjacent the front end of the bicycle frame member. A support assembly having a seat mounted adjacent its upper end is connected to the boom member at its rear end. A tension member extends between the boom member and the bicycle frame member for applying a tension force when the bicycle hits a bump to urge the boom toward a position generally horizontal to the horizontal frame member.
