Abstract: A handheld data acquisition system for capturing three dimensional object shape data comprising a user feedback screen and a scanner module configured such that the scanner module may be rotated with respect to the feedback screen and the user may be able to scan objects including hard-to-reach areas while still being able to view feedback about the on-going scanning process.
Abstract: Systems and/or methods for, for a given pixel (or sub-pixel location) in an image acquired by the camera, finding which projector pixel (or more particularly, which projector column) primarily projected the light that was reflected from the object being scanned back to this camera position (e.g. what projector coordinates or projector column coordinate correspond(s) to these camera coordinates).
