Abstract: A peeler has a handle and a blade holder disposed on the grip head of the handle with an adjustable pendulum blade. The pendulum blade is disposed adjustably by an angle between a blade pendulum axis direction and a grip longitudinal axis direction of the handle. The blade holder is configured to be substantially semi-circular and is provided with a blade holder profile moulding disposed on the outer circumference of the blade holder. Furthermore, a grip head profile moulding complementary to the blade holder profile moulding is provided on the grip head, in such a manner that the blade holder profile moulding and the grip head profile moulding engage displaceably and positionably in one another in order to achieve a smooth adjustability of the blade holder on the handle for adjustment of the angle.

Abstract: A frying pan splash guard (1) including a support element (10) detachably supported on a pan opening (20), the support element (10) having at least one support element aperture (100) for allowing liquids and steam to escape in a fully crossing manner, shall permit steam escaping in variable amounts in a controlled manner from the pan, in addition to preventing undesirable fat from escaping from the pan. This is achieved in that a steam escape element (11), which overlaps the support element (10) and at least partially the at least one support element aperture (100), is movably arranged on a first side (101) of the support element (10) such that a steam exit space of a variable height (h) can be formed between support element (10) and steam escape element (11).

Abstract: A strainer device (1) is described, which may be mounted on a pour-out of a container by way of fastening means (12) on a lower side (14) which may face the container (3). The strainer device (1) comprises a plurality of sieve elements (10) which are pivotably arranged on a sieve element holder (15) in a plane parallel to the lower side (14) of the strainer device (1), at least partly separated from one another by way of slots (11). As a whole a flexible, bendable comb-like strainer device (1) is formed, which is may be fastened with a fixation device (2) on the pour-out of the container in a simply releasable manner. The strainer device (1) is preferably designed of a heat-resistant plastic, wherein stainless steel may also be applied completely or partly for the design of the sieve elements (10) and/or the sieve element holder (15).

Abstract: A grater for grating of gratable food products with different hardness degrees. A cylindrical grater container receives a driver element which is mounted rotatively moveable and which includes a plurality of guiding elements, and which carries a feed disk at the same time. The feed disk has an external thread which is actively connected with an internal thread integrally formed on the inner surface of the grater container, and which can be linearly moved through the grater container by rotation of the driver element, and can be pressed onto a product to be grated which is located in the grater container, and the product to be grated can be grated by a grater insert attached on the grating side.

Abstract: A screwtop opener with a first handle and a second handle which can be pivoted in relation to the first handle. A first clamping jaw is formed on the first handle and a second clamping jaw is formed on the second handle. A screwtop can be grasped by the two clamping jaws. A distance between the clamping jaws can be reduced by pivoting the two handles against each other. In accordance with this invention, a first clamping jaw is embodied on a straightedge, which can be pushed into the first handle and can be arrested in a multitude of positions with respect to the first handle. Thus, it is possible to achieve a short linear extension of the screwtop opener without foregoing the comfort of being able to also grasp and open large screwtops.

Abstract: A salad spin-drier with a bowl of glass or ceramic so that part of the water collection bowl, which until now has been purely functional, may be simultaneously used as a serving bowl for the salad. The salad bowl as is standard apart from the bowl has a lid in which a drive mechanism having a rotary drive plate with a cord drum and a pull cord may be set into rotational movement by a pull grip. The rotary drive plate with tabs engages into suitable ribs on the spin-drier basket. The spin-drier basket has a bearing recess which rests on a bearing cam. The bearing cam is separated from the bowl centrally on a plate. The bowl has a planar inner base on which the plate rests, and by way of an abutment edge limiting the plane base one achieves a central mounting of the plate. For the simplified removal of the plate these may have suitable openings easier gripping. A rubber-elastic rest is on the underside of the plate and serves as scratch-protection and slip-protection.

Abstract: A chopper, or crusher (1) for breaking up ice, including a housing (2, 3) able to be pushed over the goods to be broken up and with a knife (5) with a blade having a toothed cutter (52) is provided. An upper housing part (2) is detachably connectable to a beaker-like housing lower part (3) closed at the bottom. In a preferred embodiment, the height HK of the blade (51), the height of the beaker HB and the maximum vertical path of the knife (5) limited by an actuation mechanism (4) are selected and matched to one another such that the cutter (52) in its lowermost position does not come into contact with the beaker base (31).

Abstract: The present invention provides a spice mill, in particular a pepper mill, having an improved design for setting the fineness of ground particles produced by the mill. Outer grinding teeth are located within a fixed seat. The fixed seat is connected to a rotating seat by means of a convex annular bead and a concave annular groove, thereby preventing movement of the rotating seat away from the fixed seat when the rotating seat is rotated in order to set the fineness of the ground particles. Inner grinding teeth are positioned within the outer grinding teeth and supported by a lift seat. Spokes on the lift seat are positioned within guide grooves located on the inner wall of the fixed seat whereby, on rotation of the rotating seat, the lift seat is moved upward or downward and the inner grinding teeth are shifted upwards or downwards, thereby setting the size and the fineness of the ground particles produced by the mill.

Abstract: A salad shaker having a lower part of a container and a cover which is placed on the cover and has a cable pull drive by which the salad sieve can be rotated. The drive is connected to a rotating plate by a free-running device which acts on both sides, and enables the rotational direction of the salad sieve to be charged in a spring-biased manner. The repeated change in rotational direction causes the shaking efficiency to be significantly improved. The restoring force of the inventive spring automatically reels in the cable and holds the handle in a desired position on the cover in a spring-biased manner. The drive of this invention can also be used in handle-operated salad shakers.
