Abstract: This invention relates to a refillable and/or interchangeable cartridge that can attach and detach from a hairdryer. Prior to, concurrent with or subsequent to hair drying, a user can activate the cartridge to dispel, mist, steam or otherwise disperse the cartridge's product onto the user's hair, skin, scalp or fur. Each cartridge can contain various hair treatment products, styling products and/or nutrients. A cartridge can attach and detach at various points along the hairdryer including but not limited to inside the front outlet or rear inlet, primarily annularly around either the front outlet or rear inlet, along the top of the housing, through the core of the housing, or in the handle. The hairdryer also has improved heat transfer, fluid flow, reduced noise and vibration, weight and a shorter main housing barrel to make it easier for a user to treat and style the user's hair, skin, scalp or fur.

  • Publication number: 20180022027
Abstract: This invention teaches a nozzle assembly for a 3D FDM color printer for residential usage that is capable of printing multicolored 3D objects based on a users' input file. The nozzle assembly has at least two separate inputs for filament. Each filament can be liquefied by heating elements in a controlled manner and then mixed with other filaments in a mixing block portion of the nozzle to create a variety of colors for use in printing the 3D object. A closed loop water cooling system connected to the cooling block portion of the nozzle assembly prevents the filament from liquefying outside of the mixing block and clogging the nozzle assembly. In a preferred embodiment there are five filament inputs for the colors white, black, cyan, magenta, and yellow to cover the color spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20170254689
Abstract: This invention teaches dispensing a precise amount of liquid from a rigid vessel using a combination of valves, plugs, and diaphragms. In particular, a rigid container with a connected measuring receptacle can dispense oil. A user can depress at least one diaphragm on the rigid container to pressurize a chamber, forcing the liquid upwards into a hollow tube and into the measuring receptacle. The hollow tube, traversing the interior of the container, has at least one orifice at both the proximal and distal ends. The user can calibrate the amount of liquid in the measuring receptacle by activating a release valve or stopper to remove the liquid from the measuring receptacle and back into the container. In addition, a flexible and optionally removable lid covers the measuring receptacle. This lid can be depressed to pressurize the measuring receptacle and expel the liquid from an orifice on the measuring receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20170102606
Abstract: This invention relates to a device comprised of at least two interchangeable modules, wherein at least one module has a power source and/or data storage unit and can transmit power and/or data to all of the electrically and mechanically mated modules. The device is designed for use in extreme weather environments, such as but not limited to, snow, rain, at elevation, and/or under pressure. In addition, each mating point between the at least two modules is waterproof. In a preferred embodiment, the device is comprised of a first module that is an optical head, with at least two optical lenses and can sense and capture image data. A second module is a handle comprised of a battery. When the first and second modules are electrically and mechanically mated, the two modules are secure and waterproof and the device operates as a 360° optical camera with an interchangeable power handle module.

  • Publication number: 20160363806
Abstract: This invention relates to a carrying case with at least one electrochromic panel that can reversibly change from an opaque “off-state” to a highly transparent “on-state” when a button, dial, switch, snap, voice command, remote device, toggle, proximity sensor, other pocket, pouch, or flap on the carrying case, temperature sensor, or any other type of actuator that applies a charge to the electrochromic panel is activated. The electrochromic panel can be on any facet of the carrying case or multiple electrochromic panels can layer on top of each other to create various effects. Each electrochromic panel can have varying properties including, but not limited to, unique textures, transparency when voltages are applied, polarizations, colors, densities, finishes, and/or holographic displays. The electrochromic panel can be used on various appliances, furniture, devices, and/or over optical lenses to prevent an unauthorized remote user from viewing scenes through the optical lens.
