    Abstract: A process is disclosed for treating compositions of alcohol oxidase to inactivate catalase therein, which comprises aging the composition comprising alcohol oxidase and catalase at a temperature and for a time period sufficient to inactivate catalase while maintaining the alcohol oxidase activity.
