    Abstract: A heating system in which a flameless chemical reaction occurs between a solid metal and a solution which includes means for adding or subtracting the solid metal and separate means for adding the solution. The reaction is under the control of mechanism regulating the immersion of the metal in the solution. The heating system is small and compact with a heat transfer system compatible with available heating systems. Human contact with the chemicals is unnecessary for operating the heating system.
