  • Publication number: 20180277973
Abstract: A connector system includes a main board and an interposer board. The main board and the interposer board are each configured to mate to a separate connector and are connected together by vias. The vias can provide an electrical path from the interposer board to the main circuit board so that a first connector mounted on the interposer board can be positioned directly in line with a second connect—or mounted on the main circuit board. The interposer helps make the routing out of signal traces from the two connector simpler while reducing the need for additional layers on the main board. Two connectors can be press-fit mounted to the main board and the interposer board in a belly-to-belly configuration.

  • Publication number: 20180269614
Abstract: An embodiment includes a holder assembly with terminals that are supported by insert molding. The terminals are electrically connector to conductors, which can be covered with an insulative covering, and thus provide easy to connector holder assemblies. The holder can include features that allow an LED module to be inserted into a recess in the housing and retained via a friction fit. Such a configuration allows the assembly to be shipped as an assembly without the need to solder the LED module to the holder and while still ensuring a reliable electrical connection between the LED module and the corresponding holder assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180261958
Abstract: A first connector has the rockable lever for engaging with a second connector. The lever has a working part, the operating part, and the regulating part. When a second connector is pressed downward toward the first connector, the working part is pressed by the second connector. As a result, the lever rocks and the regulating part regulates the upward movement of the second connector. At this time, the operating part moves upward. When an operator subsequently presses the operating part downward, the lever rocks in the opposite direction, and the regulating part allows the second connector to move upward. At this time, the first working part moves upward thus pressing the second connector upward.
