Abstract: Woven or knitted bandage material is pre-shrunk and wound on a roll. The material is fed from the roll via a positive roller drive that stretches the material to correspond to its initial stretch capacity. The fed material is continuously processed through shrinking, spray application of a watery emulsion of rubber, and drying, first on one side and then the other side. A plurality of interengageable rubber loops are obtained on the surface of the bandage material, which render the bandage cohesive.
Abstract: An apparatus which successively and incontinuous action ensures the winding of bands from skeins, the retraction of the unwound bands, the drying of the retracted bands, and the winding by predetermined lengths, with checking of the quality of the possible variations of the lengths.
Abstract: A complete tubular dressing wherein one section of the tubular dressing constitutes the dressing proper and another section of the tubular dressing is extensible and is designed to hold the dressing in position on the body of the patient.
