    Abstract: An information detector for a tire wheel includes a rotating coil extending about the circumference of the wheel, and two stationary coils inductively coupled to one another through the rotating coil. A parameter of the rotating coil is modified by tire pressure or the like to affect the coupling between the stationary coils. In one embodiment, the resistance of the rotating coil is modified and in another embodiment, the inductance of the rotating coils is modified.
