  • Patent number: 5944423
Abstract: A suspension bag for a suspension filing system is described wherein elongate plastic closure bars are used and affixed to upper edges of plastic bags. The closure bars releasably interlock with each other and are separable for a sufficient distance to form a bag opening for the insertion of articles to be stored in the suspension bag. A sufficient bag opening can be achieved by reducing the length of the upper bag portion that is attached to the closure bars or by providing corner cut outs or with the use of gussets. The bags are preferably formed of transparent material though opaque materials could be used.

  • Patent number: 5913782
Abstract: A knockdown platform for use on an inclined surface comprising a table structure having an upper table top with a plurality of indentations and openings for containment of a variety of objects. The table structure has a hollowed area on its underside. An upright leg structure is positioned at one end of the table structure. A hinge connects the table structure and the upright leg structure in assembly together in the hollowed area. Collapsible locking brackets further secure the table structure and the upright leg structure in assembly. The collapsible locking brackets are adjustable so as to secure the table structure and the upright leg structure at right angles. The collapsible locking bracket is releasable enabling the table structure and the upright leg structure to be pivoted on the hinge located interior to the hollowed area on the underside of the table structure.

  • Patent number: 5816639
Abstract: A flexible plumbing assembly is provided for use in a trailer with an extensible cabin having rigid plumbing that can be moved between a retracted position wherein the extensible cabin is substantially inside the trailer and an extended position wherein the extensible cabin is substantially outside the trailer. The flexible plumbing assembly comprises a flexible hose connecting the trailer rigid plumbing to the cabin rigid plumbing, a sliding guide for horizontally moving the connection of the flexible hose to the cabin rigid plumbing at a constant elevation relative to the cabin floor as the cabin rigid plumbing moves with the cabin between the extended and retracted positions, and a hose guide for ensuring that material in the flexible hose moves in the proper direction as the cabin moves between the extended and retracted positions.

  • Patent number: 5813092
Abstract: A hanger handle for a recloseable bag is disclosed which comprises two complementary flexible side members shaped so that when fitted together they create a single, matched handle. Each complementary side member has a bottom edge strip to which an upwardly extending grip portion of a predominantly inverted, squat W-shape with a hook portion extending upward from one side of the grip portion to above the middle of the inverted, squat W-shape. Each complementary side member is also fitted with fasteners which enable the bag to be closed and the fasteners have a complementary tip-bevel shape with a lip for snapping the bag closed and securing it. Further, each complementary side member can optionally be equipped with recesses at offset points to provide tabs for finger and/or thumb access to open the handle.

  • Patent number: 5788306
Abstract: A trailer having a slideout mechanism for moving an extensible cabin between a retracted position wherein the cabin is substantially inside the trailer and an extended position wherein the cabin is substantially outside the trailer. The slideout mechanism comprising an extension assembly for positioning the cabin between the retracted and extended positions and a leveling assembly for vertically positioning the cabin floor between a raised position wherein the cabin floor is substantially above the trailer floor and a lowered position wherein the cabin floor is substantially level with the trailer floor. In one embodiment, the leveling assembly comprises a frame member having a predetermined profile for controlling the vertical movement of the outboard end of the cabin floor as the cabin is positioned between the retracted and extended positions. In other embodiments, the leveling assembly comprises a cam assembly or a riser assembly for controlling the vertical position of the cabin floor.

  • Patent number: 5080584
Abstract: An orthodontic arch wire exhibiting relatively constant force over range of deflection of 0.8-1.8 mm and resiliently returnable to its initial position from flexure up to 90.degree. is formed from a braid of nickel/titanium alloy. In the process for making the arch wire, eight strands of the alloy are initially formed into a braid of circular cross section which is then deformed into a rectangular cross section. The deformed braid is wound about a fixture, is heated treated on the fixture and thereafter cut to produce a pair of arch wires from each coil about the fixture. The nickel/titanium alloy is one having a nominal composition of 55% nickel and 45% titanium.
