Abstract: An electronic game having a capability to vary the probabilities of events happening to simulate choices that are made in actual games. A baseball electronic game is specifically described having a miniature baseball field representation with lights indicating positions of runners on the bases and a score board. The disposition of each batter is determined by random electronic generator. The batting average resulting from the generator can be altered for a short period of time by the players selecting a relief pitcher mode or a pinch hitter mode for one or a few batters and only for a few times during each game.
