  • Patent number: 9840819
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide an interlock arrangement with a blocking feature and a locking feature secured to an interlock member. The interlock member can move between first and second interlock orientations. With the interlock member in the first interlock orientation, the blocking feature can prevent attachment of a power conduit to a power connection, such that the motor is not enabled to power a powered device, and the first locking feature can allow a first gate to open in order to provide access to the powered device. With the interlock member in the second interlock orientation, the blocking feature can allow attachment of the power conduit to the power connection, such that the motor is enabled to power the powered device, and the first locking feature can prevent the first gate from opening such that the first gate obstructs access to the powered device.

  • Patent number: 9540213
Abstract: A system is described for controlling the engagement of a rotating drive, such as a drive for a hose reel. A power source provides rotational power to a first rotating member. A power-transfer device extends between the first rotating member and an input portion of a second rotating member. A control member linked to the first rotating member moves between first and second orientations to move the first rotating member between engaged and disengaged positions. In the engaged position, the power-transfer device is engaged to allow transfer of rotational power from the power source to the second rotating member. In the disengaged position, the power-transfer device is disengaged such that rotational power is not transferred from the power source to the second rotating member.

  • Publication number: 20140326472
Abstract: A support apparatus is disclosed for securing a material moving wing plow relative to a vehicle. The support apparatus includes a trailing link having a first and a second end. The first end of the trailing link is pivotally connected to the vehicle about a first pivotal axis. A support arm is provided for supporting the wing plow. The support arm is pivotally secured to the second end of the trailing link about a second pivotal axis. The first and second pivotal axes are disposed spaced and parallel relative to each other so that the support arm is dragged by and trails from the vehicle so that during a plowing operation, the wing plow supported by the support arm moves smoothly over the material being moved so that a potentially dangerous diving of the wing plow into the material in a vicinity of the support arm is avoided.

  • Patent number: 8132817
Abstract: An air suspension control apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. The apparatus includes a charge tank maintained at a first air pressure such that selective filling of the charge tank with compressed air is permitted. The arrangement is such that, in a first disposition of the tank air valve, the charge tank is maintained at a second air pressure which is less than the first air pressure. When the tank air valve is in a second disposition thereof, the charge tank is maintained at the first air pressure. In a third mode of operation of the air suspension control apparatus, the tank air valve is in the first disposition thereof and a ride height air valve is in the first setting thereof. The arrangement is such that the first pressure within the charge tank rapidly inflates the air spring from the third pressure to the second pressure so that driving of the vehicle is permitted.
