Abstract: Disclosed are rigid materials such as sheets, boards or tubes made of expanded polypropylene, which have a uniform specific gravity d of from about 4.1.times.10.sup.-6 to about 8.1.times.10.sup.-6 Newton/mm.sup.3, a crystallization temperature of from about 115.degree. C. to about 135.degree. C. and a flexural modulus Mf expressed in Newton/mm.sup.3 such that the ratio Mf:d is from about 1.5.times.10.sup.8 to about 1.7.times.10.sup.8 mm.
Abstract: Disclosed are films made of expanded polypropylene, which have a uniform specific gravity d of from about 4.25.times.10.sup.-6 to about 6.50.times.10.sup.-6 Newton/mm.sup.3, a crystallization temperature of from about 115.degree. C. to about 135.degree. C. and an elastic modulus Me expressed in Newton/mm.sup.3 such that the ratio Me:d is from about 1.6.times.10.sup.8 to about 2.0.times.10.sup.8 mm.
Abstract: Synthetic thermoplastic rubber consisting of a mixture containing from 10% to 45% by weight of polypropylene, from 10% to 45% by weight of high-impact polystyrene and from 30% to 80% by weight of elastomeric copolymer of the linear type, of styrene/diene blocks whose diene is either butadiene or isoprene, having at least three polymeric sequences and a content in styrene lower than 50% by weight.
Abstract: Thermoplastic material of high impact resistance, consisting of a homogeneous mixture of high-density polyethylene, high-impact polystyrene and of a styrene/diene block copolymer having a content in styrene below 50% by weight.
Abstract: A polymer composition is disclosed which comprises polystyrene, polypropylene and a sequenced copolymer of conjugated diene and vinylaromatic compound such as styrene which has a radial structure. The polymer composition has improved migration properties.
Abstract: Thermoplastic laminate suited for thermo-forming, consisting of at least one sheet of crystalline polypropylene and of at least one sheet of polymeric material consisting of a mixture of high-impact polystyrene (from 1% to 75% by weight), crystalline polypropylene (from 20% to 85% by weight) and of styrene/dienic monomer block copolymer with three or more sequences (from 5% to 15% by weight).
