    Abstract: The present invention relates to slip ring assemblies with separately replaceable ground rings. Also provided are separately replaceable ground rings and methods of replacing such rings in slip ring assemblies, as well as kits for performing the same. The rings, assemblies, methods, and kits of the present invention are particularly useful in wind turbines and other applications where accessibility poses significant obstacles to maintenance operations.
