Abstract: Various aspects are directed to a computer system for implementing an interface for presenting metric data to a user, the computer system may comprise a storage medium, which may, in turn, comprise a sitemap. The sitemap may define an organization of portal pages and wherein each portal page comprises at least one region defining a metric data type and a metric data presentation. The computer system may also comprise at least one processor configured to implement a controller unit. The controller unit may be configured to query a data source to retrieve a first data collection, where the first data collection comprises metric data of a first business context. The controller unit may also be configured to render a first portal page selected from the organization of portal pages according to the first data collection.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a brokerage commission owed by a client of a brokerage firm based on the principal volume (“PV”) of the client's eligible transactions over a time period. The system may comprise: (i) a database storing information about the client's transactions; and (ii) one or more processors in communication with the database. The processor(s) is programmed to determine the client's brokerage commission by: (i) calculating the cumulative PV of transactions made by the client through the brokerage firm over a time period; and (ii) calculating the commission for a billing time period based on the calculated cumulative PV. The applicable commission may be determined based on a tiered marginal commission rate schedule.

Abstract: An application monitoring method and system. The method may comprise the steps of capturing raw performance data from one or more components of the application, converting the raw performance data of the one or more components to data records having a standard event data format, determining summary data for the one or more components based on the data records, and presenting the summary data to an end user.
