Abstract: Systems, methods, techniques and apparatuses of throttle bodies are disclosed. One exemplary embodiment is an intake system comprising a throttle body device including a first interface structured to be coupled to an intake manifold, and a second interface including a receiving bore; and an intake adapter including a third interface including a radial groove structured to house a seal device, and a fourth interface structured to be coupled to an intake conduit, wherein the third interface of the intake of the intake adapter is structured to be inserted into the receiving bore of the second interface of the throttle body device.
