    Abstract: In a vehicle operation recorder for motor vehicles, the recording devices are permanently undetachably connected to the display devices, the diagram chart carrier is arranged in a separate compartment of the casing which is offset laterally or rearwardly in relation to the main instrument dial, and the marker pens are arranged above the diagram chart in likewise laterally offset relation to the main instrument dial and are connected to the recording devices by a rigid bridge member.
