Abstract: A method of packaging and preparing a mixed drink and the mixed drink mixer package therefor, wherein pre-measured mixer ingredients are packaged in a container that is marketed and sold with extra head-space for the subsequent addition and shaking of ingredients according to the consumer's taste, and preferably with a strainer for straining the mixed drink prior to serving. The consumer may prepare the drink by adding an alcoholic beverage and, if desired, ice through the wide opening of the container. Blending of the ingredients may be accomplished by shaking the container, which is provided with a removable, leak-proof cap. The ingredients may be strained through the detachable strainer when they are poured from the container, or the container itself may be used as a drinking vessel, thus minimizing the time, effort, and inconvenience of amassing a variety of containers and implements that are associated with prior art methods of packaging the ingredients for mixed drinks and preparing mixed drinks.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a two stage variable flow valve assembly for use in fluid handling. The valve assembly includes a body with a flow restrictor disposed therein to define two internal chambers which are closed at one end by a wall and open at the opposite end by a discharge opening. A valve having a bulb and a profiled valve stem extends axially through and is movable within the internal chambers to open and close the valve assembly for flow therethrough. Flow is halted through the valve assembly when a portion of the profiled valve stem enters the flow restrictor, prior to the bulb's closing of the discharge opening.

Abstract: A plastic bottle-shaped container comprises a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion includes a neck area having a neck wall extending toward and then away from the center of the container when proceeding along its length to form a neck grip to allow a user to grasp the container. The bottom portion, which extends from the top portion, has a front wall, a back wall and side walls. Each side wall of the bottom portion has a recess. The recesses of the side walls together define a side grip to allow the user to grasp the container at the side walls.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container which may be dividable into first and second segmented compartments. The dividable container includes a one piece body member, a cover member, and a base member. The body member defines the first and second compartments which each include an interior wall having a top edge and two side edges. A side wall, having first and second segments, extends from the side edges to form portions of two different sides of the container. The top edges of the interior walls are at least partially connected. The cover and base members include top and bottom portions, respectively, and a plurality of flaps for contacting and attaching to, respectively, the wall segments. The cover member, base member, and top edges of the interior walls may be severed along a plane located between the interior walls to form the segmented first and second compartments.
