Abstract: An electric cooking apparatus comprises a base (1) in the form of a frame defining a hollow internal region (6), a vessel (2) adapted to rest on the base in that internal region, an electric heating resistance (3) disposed above the vessel, a cooking grill (4) disposed above the resistance (3) and adapted to receive food to be grilled, and a thermal regulator (10) mounted in series with the electric heating resistance (3) and operating in a predetermined switching temperature range. A thermostatic safety switch (11) is disposed in the base and mounted in series with the heating resistance (3) and operates at a fixed switching temperature below the minimum temperature of that range and permits detecting, by thermal conduction, abnormal increases of the temperature of the vessel (2) and cuts off as needed the electrical supply of the electric heating resistance (3).

Abstract: A toaster comprises a housing (1) enclosing a carriage (4) movable between an ejection position and a toasting position to which it can be brought by a handle (6) connected to one end (7) of the carriage (4) by a driver (8) secured to a finger (11) adapted to actuate a control switch (12) for the electrical supply of a heater (3). The driver (8) is movably mounted on the end (7) of the carriage (4) for movement along a vertical path (l) so as to permit the finger (11) to free the switch (12) when the carriage remains blocked in its toasting position after unlocking a retaining device (10).
Abstract: A fruit or vegetable juicer comprises a housing enclosing a motor group having an output shaft which projects into a basin secured to the housing. The output shaft drives a working tool disposed in a bowl in rotation. The bowl is movably mounted within the basin and is covered by a cover having a chute for the introduction of foodstuff, and a locking/unlocking device ensures maintenance of the bowl and the basin when the cover is in a locked condition. The bowl and the cover also comprise mutual hooking elements which permit the extraction from the basin of an assembly comprised of the bowl, the working tool and the cover, when the cover is in an unlocked condition.
Abstract: A kitchen appliance for heating foodstuffs with steam, comprising, in a housing (1) having a bottom (2) and a side wall (3), a cold water reservoir (4) supplying a chamber for the production of steam (5), supplying itself through a steam inlet (6), a cooking chamber (7) disposed on the housing (1) and adapted to receive foodstuffs. The housing (1) has in its side wall (3) a channel (8) communicating with the exterior of the housing (1) through a filling cover (12) and with the interior of the housing (1) through a flow opening emptying into the cold water reservoir (4).
Abstract: Circuit for supplying a piezoelectric motor (M) comprising a rotor (1) frictionally driven by a stator energized by a piezoelectric element (3) connected to two electrodes (11 and 12) supplied by two high frequency voltages (V.sub.1 ') and (V.sub.2 ') of the same amplitude, and phase shifted by approximately 90.degree.. According to the invention, the supply circuit comprises a single high frequency alternating supply source (V) and an adapting means (Q) connected to the alternating supply source (V) and to two electrodes (11 and 12) energizing the piezoelectric element (3) and generating both voltages (V.sub.1 ') and (V.sub.2 '). The invention is for use in piezoelectric motors.
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a drive motor (7) with a shaft (8) having a front end for engaging a coupling device (20) for a whisk (10), and a rear end for engaging a drive (28) housed in a cylindrical body (31) and engageable by a mixing arm, as well as a vertically movable ejector member (51) linked to the coupling device. A movable mechanical assembly (70) is provided for releasing the ejector member (51) while blocking the internal space (74) in the body (31) so that only the whisk can be fitted, or alternatively locking the ejector member (51) in the down position while unblocking the internal space (74) in the body so that only the mixing arm can be fitted.
Abstract: An infusion machine including a cold-water container (1) which incorporates a water purification device (5) and which comprises a water outlet (2) connected to a water heater (3). The water purification device includes a removable cartridge (7) comprising a bottom part forming a cup (8) which is designed to be mounted sealingly in a suitable basin (10) formed in the bottom of the container, and in which is housed so as to be removable a filter sachet (15) containing a water purification substance (16), and a top part forming a cap (18) which is located in line with the cup (8) and which is able to close the latter, the cap (18) of the cartridge comprising at least one opening (42) through which the water from the container enters, and the cup (8) of the cartridge comprising at least one opening (51) through which the water flows into the water heater (3) after passing through the filter sachet (15) used particularly for electric coffee makers.

Abstract: A support for an electric kitchen beater comprises a plate (26) that supports the beater and a drive device (28) for a bowl (18). A drive transmission (30) is disposed in the plate and has a movement outlet connection (34) comprising a drive wheel (36) with a vertical axle (37) that is adapted to come into engagement with the edge (38) of the bowl (18). The plate (26) also carries, facing the drive wheel (36) a guide (39) adapted to maintain the edge (38) of the bowl against the drive wheel (36). The drive wheel (36) has an active friction surface (36'), and the guide comprises at least one friction roller (40) mounted rotatably about an axle (41) substantially parallel to the axle (37) of the drive wheel.
Abstract: A ripple current generator for an induction heating apparatus includes a resonant circuit with a current injecting self-inducting coil (6), a capacitor (13), an induction heating coil (14) and a high-frequency controlled power switch (12). The current injecting self-inducting coil (6) is saturable and mounted in series with a parallel assembly consisting of two arms; a first arm (B.sub.1) containing the switch (12) and a second arm (B.sub.2) containing a capacitor (13) mounted in series with the induction heating coil (14). The self-inducting coil includes a magnetic circuit that automatically reaches saturation during the resonance phase of the oscillating circuit. The generator is useful in household cooking appliances such as induction plates, cookers or deep fryers, as well as industrial induction heating equipment for treating metal components.
