    Abstract: An electrical machine may include a rotor, a stator, and at least one electromagnetic brake including at least one brake disk. The rotor may include a monolithic shaft, which may include: at least one pulley-forming portion including at least one annular groove for driving at least one cable, and at least one splined portion in which the at least one brake disk is engaged. An outside diameter of the pulley-forming portion may be at least three times an outside diameter of the splined portion.
