Abstract: A system and method for machine tool operations optimization is disclosed. The computer based system contains vibrational data for at least one machine tool, where the vibrational data is used to determine optimal machining, parameters for the machine tool and where an amount of profit improvement gained by adopting the optimal machining parameters is calculated.

Abstract: A robotic pack station is disclosed. The robotic pack station automates the transfer of items from a tote or bin to a shipping container such as a box in a warehouse, storage or sales facility. The robotic pack station includes system and method components, and includes a work cell with a robotic arm, machine vision or sensing system, a conveyor and pack platform. Imaging of the contents of the tote with a scan tunnel and connectivity with a sorter device allows for the operation of multiple robotic pack stations, each with a specialized function such as a small box line, a medium box line, and the like.

Abstract: A computer based system and method for optimizing product selection is disclosed. The system has a financial measurement gauge that is stored on computer readable media and graphically displayed on a computer monitor. The financial measurement gauge has a central symbol with a plurality of marks on either side of the central symbol. The marks may take on a color; the color and placement of the marks in relationship to the central symbol being indicative of the profitability to the seller of the product being displayed with a given query. The system thus provides methods of alternative product selection that are coupled to the financial measurement gauge to optimize product selection based in part on seller profitability and value to the customer.

A scanner adapter application on the smartphone device receives output date comprising order data, and parses the order data, passing it to an upload application. The smartphone device further comprises an order management application to take order data from the scanner adapter application and smartphone user data entry to access a backend server system to retrieve and collect detailed order data in support of order submission. The detailed order data contains data elements necessary for completion and submission of orders. An API configured to receive the at least part of the order data from the upload application processes the order information into an electronic order, and sends the electronic order to a vendor server.

Abstract: A system and method for ordering supplies, includes a portable barcode scanner configured to output data according to at least one of an HID, CDC or SPP protocol. A mobile phone device incapable of recognizing and parsing data when the data is configured according to the HID, CDC or SPP protocol is connected to the scanner using a communication connection. A scanner adapter application on the mobile phone device, which receives the output data comprising order data, is configured to parse the order data and pass it to an upload application having a current data field that receives at least part of the order data. A listener server configured to receive the at least part of the order data from the upload application processes the order information into an electronic order, and sends the electronic order to a vendor server.
