    Abstract: Apparatus for forming a partition from a flat blank of material and inserting it into a container includes a forming assembly for bending the blank about a pair of preselected spaced-apart bend lines and for also folding the blank about a preselected central fold line. An "H" partition is thereby formed and it is introduced into a container. The introduction is facilitated by gate members which contact the container and provide a "funnel" through which the partition is directed.
