    Abstract: An object is first wrapped with a strip of thermoplastic film such that upper edges of the strip project upward past a top face of the object and fold inward onto outer edge regions of the top face of the object. Then a cover sheet is laid on the top face over the folded-in edges of the strip with outer edges of the cover sheet projecting outward past and hanging down around the wrapped object outside the film strip. A heated plate is then pressed down against the cover sheet and hot air is blown against the strip on the side faces so as to shrink the strip against the side faces and such that the hot air rises and welds the outer cover-sheet edges sheet to the strip around upper regions of the side faces.

    Abstract: In order to improve the use of a medical support and compression stocking, it is proposed that the stocking (10) shall comprise a woven- or knitted-fabric-type base element (20) that is substantially tubular and that can be pulled over the lower leg of the wearer. Moreover, the stocking comprises at least one air chamber (30) that can be filled with air. The air chamber (30) is designed in a tubular shape along the length of the support and compression stocking. The stocking further comprises an electronic unit that is equipped with a micropump and a valve for the air supply, the micropump being provided with a valve, a current source, preferably a rechargeable battery and control electronics including a wireless data transfer unit. The pressure values of the at least one air chamber can be regulated by means of the data transfer unit and a software stored in the electronic unit.

The track lengths are fastened to the structure. The track and tile have mating features, such that the tile can be interlocked with the track. Adjacent tiles are installed with overlap. Photovoltaic cells can be molded into or assembled with the tile. A busbar or wire harness is assembled to the track. When the photovoltaic tile is interlocked with the track, the connectors of the photovoltaic cells engage the busbar or wiring harness to provide an electrical connection.

The tie plate has a base with a tie face opposite a rail face, opposite end faces extending between the tie and the rail faces, a gauge side opposite a field side with said gauge and field sides extending between the opposite end faces and the rail and tie faces. A rail support section runs across the rail face between the opposite end faces and along the gauge and field sides. The tie plate further has a respective clip hold down housing adjacent the rail support section on the field side and the gauge side, each clip hold down housing having a rail abutting face proximal the rail support section and a longitudinally extending receptacle for receiving a spring clip. A respective rail locating shoulder extends from the rail face on either side of the rail support section. Locating ridges extend from the tie face for embedding into a tie.
