Abstract: A computerized method is for controlling a virtual environment of a user and includes providing, over a communications network, a plurality of virtual environments in which a user is able to interact with other users using electronic messaging. The computerized method also includes transmitting, from an authentication server, information about the plurality of virtual environments to a first computing device associated with an agent in response to user request for access to a restricted electronic messaging format associated with one of the virtual worlds. The computerized method further includes receiving, at the authentication server, an indication of authorization from the first computing device, wherein the indication of authorization includes a separate indication of authorization associated with each of the plurality of virtual environments.

Abstract: An electronic video system incorporates the foot movements of a user into a video program. The system includes a receiver and a computer processor. The receiver is configured to wirelessly receive signals transmitted from footwear worn by a user. The signals correspond to a series of foot movements of the user. The computer processor is operatively connected to the receiver and is configured to run the video program, which utilizes the signals received by the receiver as input data. The processor processes the input data to recognize the series of foot movements of the user, and outputs video signals simulating the series of foot movements.
Abstract: In altering sound content of an audiovisual product, for example, a video game, a computer program, motion picture, television program, commercial or other like products, a server system identifies the current sound content of an audiovisual product residing in a user system, the server system determines whether the current sound content is to be altered, and the server system provides an altered sound content to the user system, if it is determined that the current sound content is to be altered. The altered sound content includes, for example a sound content that is an alternate sound content, a substitute sound content, or an updated sound content.
