Abstract: An adsorbent package is provided which has a high ratio of adsorbent weight to package surface area. The package comprises a container having an enclosing wall formed of a sheet of thermoplastic fibrous material folded upon itself to provide superimposed edge portions which are fused together into a continuous welded seam, the container being filled with an adsorbent material, preferably particulate desiccant. The thermoplastic fibrous sheet material preferably has a fiber tie down on its side which constitutes the outside of the container, and also is preferably a felted polypropylene.
Abstract: An adsorbent unit including a container, adsorbent in the container, a resiliently flexible flap having a first portion attached to the container and having an aperture in a second portion thereof which is adapted to fit over a conduit, with the dimensions of the aperture and the conduit being such that the resilient flexibility of the flap will cause it to lock to the conduit in the area of the aperture.
Abstract: An adsorbent package comprising spunbonded olefin wall means, and adsorbent means confined by said wall means, said wall means being fabricated from planar sheet material formed into tubular shape and having a heat and pressure sealed seam which causes the spunbonded olefin material to become transparent in the area of the seam to permit viewing of the adsorbent therethrough.
