Abstract: A method for producing a package with the following steps is described. Forming of a container (13) in a web of a first web material (7); subsequent sealing of a cover (14) onto the container produced within an outer contour of the package to be produced; and thereafter cutting of the container (13) out of the first web material (7) along the outer contour of the package to be produced and outside of an outer contour of the cover (14) sealed thereon.

Abstract: Proposed are a weighing device for a packaging machine and a method for weighing packages from a packaging machine, which can be realized in a space-saving manner and/or permit the processing of packages within a large spectrum of package formats. This is achieved according to the invention in that the weight of two or more packages (7?, 7?) and the weight which is changed as a result of the subsequent supply or lead-away of an individual package (7?) or of a number of packages which are to be weighed together are measured, with it being possible for the weight of an individual package (7?) or of a number of packages which are to be weighed together to be determined from the difference between the weights which are determined in this way.
