The disclosure is characterized in that a central control system for the packaging station and the high-pressure treatment station are provided. The disclosure moreover also relates to a method for operating such a packaging machine.

Abstract: A packaging machine and a method for cutting packages is provided in which containers (4) are formed from a web of film (1) and transported through working stations of the packaging machine in a fixed-cycle way. After filling and sealing, the web of film (1) comprising the containers (4) is cut transverse to the transport direction (12) in a first cutting station (9) and in a succeeding second cutting station (10) cut in transport direction such that singularised packages result. The second cutting station (10) is operated intermittently in a fixed-cycle way and preferably is formed as a punch. By this, a precise taking-over of the packages for the subsequent processing is possible.

Abstract: A device for welding a plurality of foils to one another by means of a laser, for use in a packaging machine, comprises a clamping unit configured for applying pressure to a plurality of foils in a predetermined area as well as for conducting the laser radiation used for the purpose of welding to this area. A method for welding a plurality of foils to one another by means of a laser in a sealing station comprises welding the foils to one another along a sealing seam by means of the radiation of the laser while pressing them together in the area of the sealing seam.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device (1) with at least one grouping belt (3) for the transport and/or grouping of packages (5) with a dimensionally stable protruding edge (9) and including means for moving two adjacent packages towards one another and for overlapping the protruding edges (9), whereby the edge (9) of the preceding package comes to rest over the edge (9) of the following package on the grouping belt (3). The disclosure further relates to a method of operating a device (1) of this nature preferably in packaging systems with deep-draw packaging machines or tray sealing machines and to the use of appropriate packages (5) which are then placed into an outer packaging in a space-saving manner. With the above device and method, space saving of the packages (5) in an outer packaging (14) can be achieved in a simple manner.

Abstract: A packaging machine for producing closed packages (21) includes a chamber (17) that can be sealed in an airtight manner around one or a plurality of packages, a gas flushing unit (34) for flushing with a gas the at least one package (21) contained in the chamber (17), at least one gas line (32, 33) leading into the chamber (17) or out of the chamber (17) as well as a measuring device (35) for determining a concentration of the gas. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for closing already preformed and separated containers (19), for example trays, with a lid foil (24) in a closing station (3). The invention is characterized in that a deep-drawable foil is used as lid foil (24), that the lid foil (24) is deep-drawn in a forming means (23) of the packaging machine (1), and that the deep-drawing of the lid foil (24) is accomplished before the containers (19) are closed with the lid foil (24). The invention also relates to a packaging machine (1) suited for carrying out such a method.

Abstract: The invention provides a packaging machine support device having a frame with side walls and feet which bear the latter, and having at least one workstation borne by this frame, the side walls being in profile form. The packaging machine support device in accordance with the invention is suited to comply with the increasingly stringent hygiene requirements for packaging machines. This is achieved according to the invention by providing a frame profile (7) that is essentially open at the sides.

Abstract: Proposed is a method for manufacturing a package out of foil, with a heating process for heating a foil section, as well as a packaging machine (1) for manufacturing a package out of foil, with a heating device (14) for heating a foil section (3?) and with a device (17) for generating negative pressures on each of the two sides of the foil section. In order to allow improved coordination of individual manufacturing steps, it is proposed that in a same time interval during the heating process, a negative pressure relative to the ambient pressure is generated on both sides of the foil section (3?) during the heating process.

Abstract: A packaging machine (1) having at least one registration device is described, in particular a log-in device (13, 16) for checking the personnel-related access authorization. In order that a log-in procedure for gaining access to the packaging machine (1) is associated with the smallest possible expenditure of time and/or effort, at least one of the log-in devices (13, 16) includes a reading unit for wireless and/or contactless reception of transmitted information from wireless and/or contactless readable portable data storage media (12, 18), as well as an alternative input device for the wired input of information. A data storage medium is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for packaging a product arranged in a tray is provided. An upper film located in a distance above the product is clamped along an edge surrounding the tray and is deformed in a direction extending away from the product. Subsequently, evacuating of the space surrounding the product is performed, then a raising of the tray towards the upper film and finally a sealing of the film and of the edge of the tray. In this way, the seam of the upper film and the edge of the tray is attained to be free from creases such that a long-living and good looking package is produced. Additionally, a packaging machine for performing the method is provided.

Abstract: A device for sealing packages comprises a sealing bar (1, 2). It is the object of the present invention to provide a sealing bar which solves the problems of lacking evenness of the sealing bar due to manufacturing tolerances. Advantageously, the quality of the sealing seam shall be enhanced. This object is solved by a compressible, heat conducting material (5) provided on the sealing bar (1, 2).

Abstract: A method for packaging a good by means of a package formed of a shrinkable lower film 7 and an upper film 10 is provided. The lower film may be deep-drawn to form a container for accommodating the good, and after filling in the good, an upper film may be supplied for covering. The such-formed package is sealed and then may be subjected to shrinking in an evacuating and sealing station. Consecutively to the evacuating and sealing, an additional shrinking may be performed by subjecting the package to heat from all sides, so as to remove the film section having developed between the part of the lower and the upper film directly resting against the good and the sealing rim 16. A corresponding device for executing the method is indicated.

Abstract: Proposed are a weighing device for a packaging machine and a method for weighing packages from a packaging machine, which can be realized in a space-saving manner and/or permit the processing of packages within a large spectrum of package formats. This is achieved according to the invention in that the weight of two or more packages (7?, 7?) and the weight which is changed as a result of the subsequent supply or lead-away of an individual package (7?) or of a number of packages which are to be weighed together are measured, with it being possible for the weight of an individual package (7?) or of a number of packages which are to be weighed together to be determined from the difference between the weights which are determined in this way.
