Abstract: A method and system for secure communications includes obtaining at a first device and a chief device signals based on movement of at least one of the devices between them. Both the first device and chief device convert the signals into identical first secret keys which are then stored. The method and system next includes obtaining at a second device and a chief device signals based on movement between them of at least one of the devices. Both the second device and chief device convert the signals into identical second secret keys which are then stored. The chief device then encrypts first secret key with second secret key and transmits to the second device which decrypts it with its copy of second secret key obtaining first secret key. These communicating devices can then transmit data between them securely encrypted and decrypted with the first secret key.

  • Patent number: 11598849
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating illumination modulation signals, image intensifier gain modulation signals, and image sensor shutter control signals in a three-dimensional image-capturing system with one or more frequency synthesizers is disclosed. The illumination modulation signals, image intensifier gain modulation signals, and image sensor shutter signal are all coherent with one another, being derived from a common clock source. The use of frequency synthesizer concepts allow for the use of rapid modulation phase changes for homodyne operation, and further allow the use of rapid modulation frequency changes to mitigate the effects of inter-camera interference.

  • Patent number: 11451390
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and device that minimize error conditions with substantially simultaneously and independently generated secret keys includes synchronizing with a mobile device configured to execute a corresponding key generation process. Data obtained based on at least one shared characteristic with the synchronized mobile device is converted into a plurality of binary numbers. At least one bit for each of the plurality of binary numbers which are at least measurably random is identified. An error condition with any of the determined bits for the plurality of binary numbers is identified. At least a portion of the determined bits for the plurality of binary numbers without the detected error condition are selected. A key is generated based on the selected determined bits for the plurality of binary numbers for use in securing communications with the synchronized mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11169026
Abstract: A measurement system includes an optical probe that has a reflective prism structure, an input system, and an output system. The reflective prism structure comprises at least two mirrored surfaces on opposing sides of an axis which extends in a direction towards a target. The input system is positioned to receive and direct source light towards one of the mirrored surfaces which is positioned to reflect the source light towards the target. The output system is positioned to receive and output converging light from reflected light that comprises measurement data related to the target. The reflected light is the source light reflected from the target via the other one of the mirrored surfaces and is without substantial overlap with the source light.

  • Patent number: 11169027
Abstract: An interferometer system includes a measurement arm comprising a measurement dispersive optical system, a reference arm comprising a bulk diffuser object and a reference dispersive optical system, and an output system. The measurement dispersive optical system is positioned to direct measurement chromatic light towards a target, receive diverging chromatic measurement light from the target, and direct detected measurement light from the received diverging chromatic measurement light towards the output system. The reference dispersive optical system is positioned to direct reference chromatic light towards the bulk diffuser object, receive diverging chromatic reference light from the bulk diffuser object, and direct detected reference light from the received diverging chromatic reference light towards the output system. The output system is configured to determine at least one measured property of the target from the detected measurement light and the detected reference light.

  • Patent number: 11016179
Abstract: Methods and systems for the image processing of a three-dimensional imaging system include a multi-processor embodiment wherein the image output by an image sensor is divided amongst the several multi-processors for processing in order to improve the frame rate of the three-dimensional imaging system. Since the frame rate of a three-dimensional imaging system utilizing an image-intensifier is not limited by the amount of useful signal light available for imaging but is instead limited by image processing capacity, this technology provides for the use of multi-core or multi-processor image processing methods to improve the frame rate. Additionally, locating the image processor in close proximity to the image sensor allows for faster image data communication between the image sensor and image processor, which further improves the frame rate of the three-dimensional imaging system.

  • Patent number: 9504100
Abstract: A selective radiation utilization apparatus includes an optical filtering device and a modulation device. The optical filtering device transmits one or more selected spectral bands of incoming solar radiation and reflects one or more remaining bands of the incoming solar radiation. The modulation device spatially modulates one of the one or more selected spectral bands or the one or more remaining bands and directs the spatially modulated one of the one or more selected spectral bands or the one or more remaining bands towards a target of illumination.

  • Patent number: 8254665
Abstract: Methods and systems for three-dimensional imaging include sampling one or more emissions which are reflected back from a target scene with one or more micro-channel plates. The one or more sampled emissions are processed in one or more frames. Within each frame a phase is extracted and a distance to the target scene and amplitude is determined on a pixel-by-pixel basis. A three dimensional image of the target scene is generated and provided based on the extracted phase and the determined distance and amplitude for the one or more frames.
