    Abstract: A modular fencing storage and handling apparatus includes at least one interchangeable automated reel cradle module having a cradle for the storage and handling of a fence wire reel, a powered driving mechanism to control the automated winding of a fence wire onto the fence wire reel and a layering device, which allows the fence wire to be layered evenly across the fence wire reel as it is being fed onto the fence wire reel.
