  • Publication number: 20050041441
Abstract: A switching electric source device includes a first synchronous rectifier control circuit, which detects the resonance state developed based on the exciting energy of the primary winding after the main switching element switches off, and causes a first synchronous rectifier to switch on earlier during the time period from the completion of the resonance state to the switching on of the main switching element. Thus, the first synchronous rectifier switches on during the time period, and thus, current is prevented from flowing through a body diode, so that a voltage caused by the voltage drop in the body diode is prevented from being induced in the secondary winding and the third winding. As a result, variations in the output voltage, which is caused by the induced voltage of the third winding, can be prevented. The output voltage can be stabilized.

  • Patent number: 6806796
Abstract: An end-surface reflection type surface acoustic wave filter is capable of increasing an attenuation amount outside a pass band while insertion loss characteristics are not seriously deteriorated. The filter is a longitudinally coupled resonator type surface acoustic wave filter using an SH type surface acoustic wave, which has first and second grooves formed in a piezoelectric substrate at the top surface thereof so as to be substantially parallel to each other and spaced from each other by a predetermined distance. In addition, IDTs which are provided between the grooves for defining the longitudinally coupled resonator type surface acoustic wave filter, reflection end-surfaces disposed on side surfaces of the first and the second grooves at the IDT sides, and one of a resin-coating layer and a protective layer made of SiO2, are provided on the top surface of the piezoelectric substrate.

  • Publication number: 20040185379
Abstract: A multilayer circuit component and a method for manufacturing the same, in which the difference of the amounts of baking shrinkages between each of the glass-containing layers is small, and the enlargement rate of the diameter of the via hole formed in each of the glass-containing layers is close to those in the other layers, so that it is possible to prevent a short circuit defect due to the mutual short circuit of the conductors in the via hole from occurring, and the warp of the substrate is reduced. The multilayer circuit component is provided with at least two glass-containing layers on a substrate, differentiating the softening temperature of glass compounded in the first glass-containing layer formed on the substrate from the softening temperature of glass compounded in the second glass-containing layer formed on the first glass-containing layer.

  • Patent number: 6290056
Abstract: A conveying apparatus capable for conveying a magnetic workpiece at high speed with low vibration and low noise, superior in durability, and capable of achieving a reduction in driving force. The conveying apparatus includes a non-magnetic rail having a guide surface for slidably guiding a first surface of a workpiece, a non-magnetic belt having a conveying surface in contact with a second surface of the workpiece and movable along the rail, driving means for running the non-magnetic belt in circulation, and a rotatable roller whose peripheral surface is in contact with the surface of the non-magnetic belt opposite to the feeding surface. Provided in the roller is a magnet adapted to generate a magnetic force having a component force for causing the second surface of the workpiece to be attracted to the roller through the intermediation of the non-magnetic belt and a component force for bringing the first surface of the workpiece into contact with the rail.

  • Patent number: 6130951
Abstract: A speaker has a substantially reduced overall size while producing a complete low frequency sound range at high output amplitude. The speaker includes a main body having open sections at both ends thereof. A sounding body pinched by ringed first dampers is secured to each of the open sections of the main body so that the inside of the main body is kept air-tight. A first opening is provided at the middle part of the side of the main body. Lid members are secured on the outside of the two sounding bodies via a ringed second damper so as to keep the inside of the lid member air-tight. A second opening is created around the middle of the bottom of each of the lid members. A disc-like membrane is secured to the second dampers such that the lid members cover the membranes and cover the open section of the main body to keep the inside of the lid members air-tight.

  • Patent number: 6111480
Abstract: A piezoelectric resonator having a small spurious resonance and a large difference .increment.F between the resonant frequency and the antiresonant frequency is constructed that a resonant frequency or antiresonant frequency can be easily and accurately adjusted to a low frequency. The piezoelectric resonator has a base member which includes a plurality of laminated piezoelectric layers and a plurality of inner electrodes disposed substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the base member. The plurality of piezoelectric layers are polarized in the longitudinal direction of the base member. A first external electrode and a second external electrode are located on a surface of the base member and connected to the plurality of electrodes. The resonant frequency of the piezoelectric resonator is adjusted by cutting an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the base member.

  • Patent number: 5952970
Abstract: An antenna device has a dielectric block; a radiating electrode disposed in said dielectric block; and a coupler electrode disposed in said dielectric block so as to be electromagnetically coupled to said radiating electrode. The antenna device has a reduced size despite the use of a dielectric material having a comparatively small dielectric constant, by virtue of the fact that the radiating electrode and the coupler electrode are arranged inside the dielectric block.
