  • Patent number: 10523176
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a front-end module for a telecommunication device with an EBD circuit comprising a hybrid transformer for coupling via a transmit port to the telecommunication device transmitting a first frequency transmit signal, to an antenna, via a receive port to the telecommunication device receiving a second frequency receive signal, and to a tunable impedance circuit. In a first configuration the EBD circuit is configured to isolate the transmit port from the receive port at the first frequency, and the FEM comprises a first filter at the transmit port for attenuating the transmit signal with a predetermined amount at the second frequency. In a second configuration the EBD circuit is configured to isolate the transmit port from the receive port at the second frequency, and the FEM comprises a second filter at the receive port for attenuating the receive signal a predetermined amount at the first frequency.

  • Patent number: 5745014
Abstract: A nonreciprocal circuit element having low insertion loss is provided. In the circuit element, three central conductors are disposed such that they intersect each other at specified angles in an electrically isolated condition and a DC bias magnetic field is applied to the intersection. The intersection angles formed by the central conductors are set to different values, corresponding to the rotation angle of the high-frequency magnetic field caused by the DC bias magnetic field. A stronger operating DC magnetic field than that in a conventional circuit element is used to reduce a ferrite loss.

  • Patent number: 4384264
Abstract: A surface acoustic wave device comprises a substrate and a set of interdigital electrodes disposed thereon and spaced apart. One interdigital electrode is divided along the propagating direction of the surface acoustic wave into a plurality of portion interdigital electrodes which are electrically connected in series. The electrode pattern of the one interdigital electrode is formed asymmetrically such that the static capacitances of at least two adjacent portion electrodes thereof are different from each other, preferably in such a manner that when the device is installed, the total effective static capacitances of the two adjacent portion electrodes will be substantially equal. The static capacitance of the portion electrode having a comb shaped electrode thereof which is to be grounded is selected to be smaller than that of the other portion electrode.

  • Patent number: 4381469
Abstract: A piezoelectric device comprises a ferroelectric ceramic plate as polarized, and electrodes formed on two main surfaces thereof, respectively, intersecting the polarization axis direction. The electrodes are connected to each other by means of an external resistance having a predetermined resistance value. The resistance value is selected to be smaller than the inherent resistance value of the ferroelectric ceramic plate between the two main surfaces. The positive and negative electric charges are stored on the two electrodes due to the pyroelectric effect responsive to a change of the temperature of the ferroelectric ceramic plate. The potential difference caused by the electric charges thus stored is rapidly decreased through the external resistance.
