  • Patent number: 6861095
Abstract: A method of forming a paste pattern with no variations in liquid amount while preventing a bubble from being entrapped in a step of bonding a bonded member. The drawing pattern is linearly drawn with a paste on the paste-applied body by using a nozzle, the paste, a paste reserving container, and paste supply means. The paste line is drawn while moving any of the paste-applied body, the nozzle and the paste. The paste-applied body can be a lead frame, and the paste can be an adhesive for die bonding. The drawing pattern is a figure made up of a plurality of segment lines, preferably a figure in the radial form. The drawing pattern can be a figure including an enclosed shape. At least one segment line is formed of two drawn lines by moving any of the paste-applied body, the nozzle and the paste to go and return. The start and end points of drawn lines can be positioned other than the ends of the drawing pattern.

  • Patent number: 6715506
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for ejecting a very small amount of liquid at high speed and precisely independent of the viscosity of the liquid. This apparatus and method begins by applying pressure to the liquid prior to starting ejection of the liquid and/or holding a pressure near an ejection orifice after the end of liquid ejection at a predetermined specific value so that an ejection rate of the liquid through the ejection orifice is kept constant. This apparatus and method is able to control the liquid temperature and able to refill the liquid without entrapment of bubbles occurring.

  • Patent number: 6527142
Abstract: The invention provide a liquid ejecting method and apparatus by which an ejection port of an ejection valve is mechanically opened and closed, and which can more positively shut off the liquid at the time of stopping the ejection of a liquid and can securely avoid a leakage of the liquid without a risk of breaking fillers.

  • Patent number: 5360146
Abstract: A liquid dispenser for a viscous liquid includes a hollow cylinder and a plunger axially slidably accommodated within the cylinder. The plunger has a tapered front section with an outer diameter at its rear end which is slightly smaller than the cylinder inner diameter, a drum-like intermediate section with a reduced outer diameter, and a cylindrical rear section with a maximum outer diameter which is slightly greater than the cylinder inner diameter, wherein these sections are axially aligned with, and connected to each other. The rear section has a plurality of resiliently deformable flap regions defined by, and between a plurality of axial slits in its outer surface.

  • Patent number: 5277333
Abstract: An apparatus for accurately dispensing a predetermined amount of viscous liquid such as conductive adhesive, cream solder and the like. The apparatus includes a first pressure sensor arranged in a pipe line connected between a dispensing solenoid valve and a syringe, and a second pressure sensor and an accumulator arranged in a pipe line connected between the dispensing solenoid value and an air supply so that an output is controlled in accordance with variation of an integral valve of pressure measured by the first pressure sensor integrated with a preset output time of the shifting output signal thereby controlling the dispensing of liquid based on the remaining amount of liquid in the syringe and the variation in the internal pressure in the syringe to accurately discharge the predetermined amount of liquid and prevent dripping of liquid from the syringe.

  • Patent number: 5199607
Abstract: A liquid dispensing apparatus comprises a syringe containing liquid to be dispensed and an air supply for supplying compressed air to the syringe. The syringe is connected to the compressed air supply via a discharging solenoid valve by means of a pipe line which is provided with an accumulator so as to prevent disturbance of stand-up of the pressure in the syringe to thereby effect a highly accurate quantitative discharge of liquid from the syringe independent of whether a quantity of liquid remaining in the syringe is much or less. The apparatus further comprises an air suction connected to the discharge solenoid valve by means of an additional pipe line provided with an accumulator to prevent liquid from dropping out of the syringe after the end of discharge of liquid.
