Abstract: A method and apparatus for calibrating an image system is disclosed. The method according to the present invention includes inputting data by scanning a plurality of lines into a computer, and analyzing the input data for generating intensity of the scanned lines. The inputting step is repeated when the intensity is less than a low threshold value or the intensity is higher than a high threshold value. Next, any scanned line that includes at least a special point is filtered out. After averaging the corresponding points of the scanned lines not filtered out in order to generate a calibration line, a predetermined number of points of the calibration line are averaged to generate a reference point, wherein the predetermined number of points of the calibration line are brighter than other points of the calibrated line. Finally, the calibration data are obtained by taking ratio of the reference point to each of the points of the calibration line.
Abstract: The device includes a lens set inputting therein one of a plurality of input photic images of various sizes and outputting an output photic image through one of a plurality of various photic paths; and a reflection device cooperating with the lens set, and outputting the output photic image to be focused on the photoelectric transducing element through a reflection.
Abstract: A reflection type scanner to transparence type scanner converter, comprising: (a) a casing, having a flat upper surface installed with a scanning window; (b) a light source, fixed to the casing; (c) a power supply, to provide electricity required by the light source; (d) a light transmitter layer affixed to the scanning window of the casing, the light transmitter layer being made of a superior light conducting material and capable of minimizing light scattering so as to evenly distribute the light emitted by the light source in the form of a planar light source; and (e) a protective layer made of an abrasion resistant material covering the top of the light transmitter, and used to protect the light transmitter layer from abrasion.
