  • Patent number: 12142040
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for a dynamic symbol-based system for objects-of-interest (OOI) video analytics detection. Some embodiments include instantiating one or more symbolic objects associated with one or more real world rules, defining an area of interest, associating one or more CV functions with the one or more symbolic objects, and identifying one or more video sources for which to apply the one or more CV functions. Some embodiments further include executing the one or more CV functions associated with the one or more symbolic objects to process the one or more video sources.

  • Patent number: 12088958
Abstract: Embodiments include a computer program product for using a biosensor worn by a user to trigger an event and activate a camera worn by the user to begin streaming and/or recording video data. The biosensor trigger also initiates a real time multimedia collaboration session with the user wearing the biosensor and one or more designated parties. Through an interoperability gateway device, a voice communications device of the user is bridged with voice communications devices of the designated parties, and the video data is electronically transmitted to the designated parties. Thus, the designated parties may have real time voice communications among each other and with the user, and the designated parties may also view the video data in real time. Embodiments also determine when an event has ended and deactivates the camera worn by the user.

  • Publication number: 20240259444
Abstract: Some embodiments include systems and methods for establishing incident communications networks. The system can include an incident controller, a communications resource database that stores communications resources information, and a marshalling rules module that stores a set of marshalling rules. The incident controller can use a marshalling rule to identify and select the communications resources to be marshaled into the incident communications network based on an incident trigger. Upon receipt of an incident trigger, the incident controller is configured to establish the incident communications network by obtaining a marshalling rule based on the incident trigger. The incident controller marshals communications resources based on the marshalling rule and the communications resources determined to be available. Information sources can either provide an incident trigger (e.g., a hurricane warning) or provide data to be analyzed to determine an incident trigger.

  • Patent number: 12010212
Abstract: A communication method and a method for operating the communication network are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a network identifier (NI) for a first member of the communication network, where the first member is un-validated and associated with a first user; obtaining a vote value regarding the first user from a second user of a second member in the communication network, where the second member is validated; generating a trust score for the NI based on the vote value; and validating the first member, in response to the trust score satisfying a trust score threshold, by inserting a first validated member identity hash block (MIHB) based on the NI into a master blockchain ledger for the communication network.

  • Patent number: 12003492
Abstract: Some embodiments include a broker policy manager (BPM) comprising a transceiver and a processor, where the processor is configured to dynamically change a policy associated with an Internet of Things (IoT) client certificate based on an incident invitational model. In some embodiments the processor can determine that a first IoT client is a participant of an incident communications network corresponding to an incident, and transmit first instructions to a certificate-based IoT broker to change a first IoT policy associated with a first certificate of the first IoT client, to enable the first IoT client to publish or subscribe to a topic that corresponds to the incident. The first instructions can indicate a change to a second IoT policy associated with a second certificate of a second IoT client that enables the second IoT client to publish or subscribe to the topic that corresponds to the incident.

Abstract: Some embodiments include an ambiguated application that can perform first functions, e.g., a communication application functions, when the ambiguated application is in a first state, and perform second functions, e.g., game functions, when the ambiguated application is in a second state. The ambiguated application in the first state and the ambiguated application in the second state share a same graphic user interface (GUI). When a functional object of the GUI is selected, the ambiguated application performs a first function if the ambiguated application is in a first state. In addition, when the same functional object of the GUI is selected, the ambiguated application performs a second function if the ambiguated application is in a second state.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing push-to-talk communication techniques in a multimedia conferencing session are provided. For instance, a push-to-talk mode can be implemented in a conferencing session associated with a conferencing system comprising a plurality of endpoints. At least one of the endpoints can be a full duplex endpoint. A request for transmission capabilities can be received from a first endpoint. Transmission capabilities can be granted to the first endpoint based at least in part on one or more floor control parameters associated with the conferencing session. Subsequent to granting transmission capabilities to the first endpoint, audio data can be provided from the first endpoint to at least one endpoint of the plurality of endpoints in the conferencing session.

  • Publication number: 20230086608
Abstract: Some embodiments include a first mobile device that is disconnected from a first host wireless network, where the first mobile device creates a first pro se directory that identifies member mobile devices of an off-network multimodal hybrid mesh network that are available for peer-to -peer communications with the first mobile device. A second member mobile device that is disconnected from a second host wireless network can create a corresponding second pro se directory that can be exchanged. Based on the pro se directories, the first mobile device can determine a first proxy communications path to a third mobile device that is not local to the first mobile device, where the third mobile device has access to a third host wireless network. The first mobile device can transmit a message to the third mobile device via the first proxy communications path that utilizes two different wireless technologies.

  • Publication number: 20230034535
Abstract: Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that enable secure access to cameras in smart buildings. Some embodiments control outbound video from an environment such as a local network through an intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism. The local intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism hides the IP address of a source video camera, transcodes the video to a reduced size for wide area distribution, and pushes video to a recipient upon an event triggered received within the local environment (e.g., the local network.) Embodiments enable a remote video client on the far-side of the local network firewall to view the video streams of cameras on the near-side of the local network firewall when an event or trigger occurs.
