Abstract: A device for shaping thin-wall components such as for repairing damage to a motor body comprises a holding member which can be welded to the component, and a pulling device for applying a pulling force to the holding member. The pulling device is motor-actuated and, after the holding member has been welded to the component, a part of the latter which is to be shaped can be moved into a predeterminable limit position by motor actuation by the pulling device.
