    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of selecting and preventing an IgE-related disease in a subject in need thereof, the method including: (a) selecting a subject at risk of developing an IgE-related disease; and (b) topically administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a composition capable of restoring skin barrier and orally administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a composition including an allergen.
