    Abstract: Provided is an adsorbent for capturing carbon dioxide and a method for manufacturing same, and more particularly, to an adsorbent for capturing carbon dioxide, including a magnesium oxide/titanium dioxide composite having wide surface area, large pore volume and good CO2 adsorption performance, and a method for manufacturing same. According to the present invention, a novel MgO based composite metal oxide which may stably adsorb CO2 at a low temperature such as room temperature is provided. The adsorbent for capturing carbon dioxide, including a magnesium oxide/titanium dioxide composite has good thermal stability, and controls basic sites easily, and is used in various fields for capturing carbon dioxide. In addition, by controlling the molar ratio of the metal ions of the magnesium oxide/titanium dioxide composite and controlling morphology, an adsorbent for capturing carbon dioxide having large surface area and pore volume and strong basic sites may be provided.

    Abstract: A pulse width modulation resonance converter is provided that includes a transformer and a switching unit including first to fourth switches electrically connected to a primary coil of the transformer and configured to convert a DC voltage into an AC voltage by a switching operation of the first to fourth switches in which each switch is switched from an off state to an on state when a voltage difference between both ends is about 0. Additionally, a rectifying unit includes an output capacitor, first to fourth diodes electrically connected to a secondary coil of the transformer, and a resonance tank having a resonance capacitor and a resonance inductor which are electrically connected to the secondary coil of the transformer. The plurality of switches connected to the primary side of the transformer perform the zero-voltage switching using the magnetized inductance of the primary side to minimize the switching loss.

The novel peptide tag has advantages in that it has a short length and can remove a non-specific reaction of the conventional c-myc tag and FLAG tag. Therefore, in the case of using the novel peptide tag and antibody thereto, the fusion protein expressed in a recombinant cell can be very effectively detected or purified.     Abstract: Disclosed herein are a novel crown ether with bulky and rigid groups and a method for preparing the same. Also provided are a lithium adsorbent comprising the novel crown ether immobilized onto a nanofiber, and a method for preparing the same. The lithium-selective crown ether is synthesized through intermolecular cyclization between a bulky epoxide and a rigid aromatic compound such as 1,2-dihydroxybenzene, and can effectively recover lithium ions. For use as a lithium adsorbent, the novel crown ether with both bulky and rigid subunits is immobilized onto a polymer nanofiber. The crown ether-immobilized polymer nanofibers may be formed into a recyclable membrane.
