  • Patent number: 5536105
Abstract: A device for tight fixing a rotary body such as a gear and a pulley, to a rotary shaft such as a motor shaft and a transmitting shaft, provides a slippage between the rotary body and the rotary shaft when an over-load occurs to the rotary body. A groove portion is formed either at the inner surface of a mounting hole in the center of the rotary body or at the outer surface of the rotary shaft, in which a pair of key members having a tapered contact surface are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft. A clamping bolt going through one of key members is screwed into the other key member, and pressed to both key members. Due to the pressure from the clamping bolt, each key member is displaced outward as guided by the tapered surface. One of key members makes a contact with the inner surface of the mounting hole or rotary body, and at the same time, the other begins to press the outer surface of the rotary shaft, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5156381
Abstract: A reference plane moving device comprises an attachment section which is movable along a given reference plane, and a balancer which can operate in correspondence with this attachment section, the attachment section including an air intake hole section capable of creating a vacuum condition between the attachment section and the reference plane by sucking air, and compressed air ejecting hole sections capable of creating a high pressure condition between the attachment section and the reference plane by blowing compressed air against the reference plane. By virtue of a combined action of the vacuum and the high pressure conditions thus created, the attachment section can be kept away from the reference plane by a fixed distance while being attracted thereto. The attachment section with an appropriate attachment can be readily moved on the reference plane.

  • Patent number: 5020383
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus wherein the reciprocation of a piston which is achieved utilizing air pressure causes movement of a pawl portion provided on the piston, and this movement in turn causes intermittent rotation of a spindle. In particular, according to the present invention, a pair of pawl members are used, and a selector lever is provided to permit only one of the pawl members to cause the rotation of the spindle. When the pawl member to be actuated is thus selected through the action of the selector lever, selection can be made as to the direction of rotation of the spindle.

  • Patent number: 4865521
Abstract: A vacuum breaking device for an ejector pump is provided. The vacuum breaking device according to the present invention features that it is provided with a movable sealing valve for blocking the outlet port of the ejector hole of the pump when a vacuum generated in a system within the pump is be broken. The valve is arranged in opposite relationship with the ejector hole of the pump and shifts to block the outlet port due to the pressure of compressed air supplied to the air sucking chamber of the pump so that the leakage of the vacuum breaking compressed air from the ejector hole is prevented thereby increasing the efficiency of vacuum breaking operation. The vacuum breaking device is applicable to a vacuum sucking device for attracting and sucking an article so as to transfer it to a desired place.

  • Patent number: 4690594
Abstract: Deburring apparatus for removing the burrs which are formed at the intersecting inner edges of at least two intersecting bores of a workpiece comprises; a frame having means for holding the workpiece; a cutter spindle borne rotatably in the frame; a cutter hinged to the leading end portion of the cutter spindle and biased to swing outwardly of the side thereof for cutting off the burrs at the inner edges of the bores of the workpiece held by the holding means of the frame when the cutter spindle is inserted into one of the bores and rotated; and a guide sleeve fitted slidably on the cutter spindle for sheathing the cutter, when the cutter spindle is inserted into or retracted out of the one of the bores, to protect the inner walls of the workpiece from damage, and for exposing the edge of the cutter to the outside when in the deburring operation. The cutter is directed along a curve of the inner edges of the bore of the workpiece by a cam on the frame engaged by a follower on the cutter spindle.

  • Patent number: 4655692
Abstract: Herein disclosed is an ejector pump which can be used favorably with a sucking disk for carrying an article. In the bore of a pump body, there are fitted a nozzle block having a nozzle hole and an ejector block which has an ejector hole aligned with the nozzle hole of the nozzle block, so that a suction chamber formed between the nozzle hole and the ejector hole may communicate with a suction port which is formed in one side of the pump body. Fitted in the pump body, too, is a spool valve for opening or closing a communication passage providing communication between the nozzle hole and the compressed air inlet port of the pump body. The spool valve is controlled by an electromagnetic change-over valve disposed outside of the pump body. The pump has the advantage that the compressed air can be supplied at a high flow rate to establish a strong sucking force even with a relatively small-sized electromagnetic change-over valve.

  • Patent number: 4495965
Abstract: A nut means engages with a thread formed on an outside surface of the cylindrical form valve body. A valve member having a flow restricting means such as needle valve device on one end is fitted slidably within the valve body and the same is connected to the nut means with an engaging member which is slidably fitted within a slit formed lengthwise on said threaded surface and engages with the valve member and the nut means.Fluid flow in the valve body is regulated by moving said valve member by turning said nut means. Thus the flow regulating valve of very compact form and capable of making fine adjustment of the flow rate can be provided because the conventional valve stem which engages with the internal thread of the valve body and projecting out therefrom for regulating flow is not used, and the adjustment is made with the thread of comparatively large diameter. Such flow regulating valve can be used suitably for controlling piston speed of power cylinder by providing the check valve therein.
