Abstract: The method according to the invention for generating software, from source files associated with components, including first variables initialized at zero and second variables initialized at specific values, capable of being run on a terminal, includes, for each software component, at least one of which is capable of a specific restart when the software is run, a compilation step and a linkage editing step. It comprises, for at least one restartable software component, a step for renaming a data storage, data and data initialization segment, associated with each object file of the component to be restarted, and configuring the linkage editor, performing specific linkage editing suitable for repositioning the values of the second initialized variables of the renamed segment at specific values resulting from the renamed segment, and values of the first variables of the renamed segment, when the component is restarted.

Abstract: A processing method in a system including first and second computer devices, the second device receiving batches of data to be sorted into N categories is provided. According to the method, an algorithm for sorting into N categories, which is stored in the second device, is executed in the second device and determines a respective category from among the N categories for each batch of data; and an action is selectively triggered according to the category determined for the received data batches, respectively. The sorting algorithm may previously be obtained according to the following steps: i/ a data sample is generated for each of the N categories; ii/ according to the data received by the first device for the data samples, an algorithm for sorting into N categories is determined by the first device according to consecutive iterations of a definition algorithm executed in the first device.

Abstract: This method for displaying an elementary image of a composite image grouping several elementary images on a viewing device with memory, capable of allocating a global memory area for the processing of images, comprises: a step for saving the composite image, and a step for decoding and displaying on the viewing device elementary images from the composite image. It further includes a transcoding step intended for recompressing the composite image, including: a step for partitioning the composite image into a number of portions, and successively for each portion of the composite image: a step for decoding the sole portion of the composite image, and a step for recompressing the decoded portion of the composite image. The decoding and displaying step is carried out from the recompressed composite image.
