Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a microscopic imaging system for three-dimensional imaging An optical system is provided for focusing illumination light generated by a light source to form a plurality of foci within an object. The optical system is further configured so that the foci, when seen relative to an optical axis of the optical system along which the illumination light is incident on the object, are mutually displaced from each other in an axial direction and mutually displaced from each other in a lateral direction. The optical system and/or a detector system are configured to compensate for the displacement along the axial direction so that for each of the foci, a light receiving portion of the detector system which receives a portion of the detection light is substantially located at a position which is optically conjugate to at least a portion of the respective focus.

Abstract: A method is described for forming output video frames by a decoder device, comprising: receiving a bitstream comprising bitstream parts representing encoded media data of video tiles and tile positioning information associated with the encoded video tiles; extracting tile positioning information from the bitstream, the tile positioning information comprising tile identifiers for identifying encoded video tiles, a tile identifier being associated with one or more boundary identifiers, each identifying a boundary of a video tile identified by a tile identifier; determining a tile map based on the boundary identifiers, the tile map representing a spatial layout of video tiles in an output video frame; and forming an output video frame, including identifying parts of the bitstream representing encoded media data of video tiles identified in the tile map, decoding the identified encoded media data and copying the decoded media data in the output video frame buffer according to spatial layout.

A method includes automatically initiating a hands-free mode of operation based on a first input from a user; receiving a second input corresponding to a value of a current field of a plurality of fields of an electronic form; converting, using a plug-in, the second input into the value for the current field, where the value is identified by comparing syllables of the second input to known syllables associated with a historical input of the user; displaying the value in the current field; determining, using the plug-in, that the value in the current field matches an expected value for the current field; and prompting the user to submit the electronic form in response to determining that the electronic form is complete based on a determination that a predefined subset of the plurality of fields are populated.

Environmental conditions associated with a device are assessed to determine a suitable subset of a plurality of biometric authentication modalities for authenticating the user and an unsuitable subset not available for authenticating the user. The plurality of biometric authentication modalities are displayed, where the suitable subset is selectable by the user and the unsuitable subset are not selectable by the user. The implantable device is for being introduced into a subject and for being wirelessly read out by an outside reading system. The pressure sensor comprises a casing with a diffusion blocking layer for maintaining a predetermined pressure within the casing and a magneto-mechanical oscillator with a magnetic object providing a permanent magnetic moment. The magneto-mechanical oscillator transduces an external magnetic or electromagnetic excitation field into a mechanical oscillation of the magnetic object, wherein at least a part of the casing is flexible for allowing to transduce external pressure changes into changes of the mechanical oscillation of the magnetic object.

In one implementation, an analytics circuit extracts from a first data stream received from a system quality assurance (QA) management system, test case data. The analytics circuit parses metadata, such as a user story identifier, from the test case data. Based on the metadata, the analytics circuit parses, from a second data stream received from a system development lifecycle (SDLC) management computing system, SDLC item data, such as a project identifier. Based on the SDLC item data, the analytics circuit determines at least one impacted computer application. The custom system data stream is bound to a graphical user interface. In some implementations, the interface includes a plurality of side-by-side smart dials.
