  • Patent number: 11641273
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for session authentication and random number generation. An example method includes receiving, by decoding circuitry and over a quantum line, a set of qbits generated based on a first set of quantum bases. The example method further includes decoding, by the decoding circuitry and based on a second set of quantum bases, the set of qbits to generate a decoded set of bits. In this example method, the first set of quantum bases is determined without reliance on the second set of quantum bases and the second set of quantum bases is determined without reliance on the first set of quantum bases. The example method further includes generating, by random number generation circuitry, a number comprising the decoded set of bits.

  • Patent number: 11640565
Abstract: Systems and method for relationship mapping may include server(s) for providing base layer data objects to a computing device including entity and relationship base layer data objects. The server(s) may receive conditional rules from a first and second computing device which define contextual relationships between two entity base layer data objects. The server(s) may determine that a first entity base layer data object and a second entity base layer data object satisfy the first and second contextual relationship by applying a first and second conditional rules received from the computing devices to attributes corresponding to first and second entity base layer data objects. The server(s) may store a first and second association between the first and second entity base layer data object in accordance with the first and second contextual relationships.

  • Patent number: 11640571
Abstract: A model management system receives data for an inventory of models including data regarding issues for each of the models. The model management system determines a model risk score for each of the models based on the issues for each of the models. As the issues are opened and closed, the model management system receives updates and in real-time, updates the model risk score. The model risk score can be determined using a severity assigned to each issue for each of the open issues for a given model as well as the number of issues at each severity. Risk scores can be calculated across a line of business and across an enterprise, for example. The model management system also provides one or more of: model development, model validation, model integration, model use, model maintenance, and model retirement.

  • Patent number: 11640845
Abstract: A bioinformatics method for determining a risk score that indicates a risk that a subject will experience a negative clinical event within a certain period of time. The risk score is based on a combination of activities of two or more cellular signaling pathways in a subject, such as a human, wherein the specific cellular signaling pathways are the PI3K pathway and one or more of a Wnt pathway, an ER pathway, and an HH pathway. The invention also includes an apparatus with a digital processor configured to perform such a method, to a non-transitory storage medium storing instructions that are executable by a digital processing device to perform such a method, and to a computer program comprising program code means for causing a digital processing device to perform such a method. The invention achieves advanced prognosis of negative clinical events, for example, disease progression, recurrence, development of metastasis, or even death.

  • Patent number: 11641683
Abstract: A wireless communication system comprises a host device (110) and mobile devices (120) arranged for wireless communication and for distance (140) measurement. The host device has a user interface (113) comprising a connect button (115), and is arranged to execute a connection sequence upon a user activating the connect button. The connection sequence first determines respective distances between the host and respective mobile devices. A first mobile device is identified exhibiting a movement. Then a connection action is executed regarding a connection between the first mobile device and the host device. The mobile device is arranged for executing a ranging protocol and, upon subsequently receiving a connection message, executing a connection action regarding a connection between the first mobile device and the host device. Effectively a connection may be established upon the user of a mobile device pressing a single button on a selected host device and moving the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11640656
Abstract: An image processing apparatus comprises a receiver (201) for receiving an image signal which comprises at least an encoded image and a target display reference. The target display reference is indicative of a dynamic range of a target display for which the encoded image is encoded. A dynamic range processor (203) generates an output image by applying a dynamic range transform to the encoded image in response to the target display reference. An output (205) then outputs an output image signal comprising the output image, e.g. to a suitable display. The dynamic range transform may furthermore be performed in response to a display dynamic range indication received from a display. The invention may be used to generate an improved High Dynamic Range (HDR) image from e.g. a Low Dynamic Range (LDR) image, or vice versa.

  • Patent number: 11640609
Abstract: Disclosed is an example approach in which network and non-network features are used to train a predictive machine learning model that is implemented to predict financial crime and fraud. Graphical network features may be generated by applying financial entity risk vectors to a network model with representations of various types of networks. The network model may comprise transactional, non-social, and/or social networks, with edges corresponding to linkages that may be weighted according to various characteristics (such as frequency, amount, type, recency, etc.). The graphical network features may be fed to the predictive model to generate a likelihood and/or prediction with respect to a financial crime. A perceptible alert is generated on one or more computing devices if a financial crime is predicted or deemed sufficiently likely. The alert may identify a subset of the set of financial entities involved in the financial crime and present graphical representations of networks and linkages.

  • Publication number: 20230128652
Abstract: A chamber cross-sectional multi-stage plasma arrangement characterized by escalating charge movement towards chamber center axis through one or more escalation stages contributing to the heating of the plasma, the centering of the plasma on the chamber axis, and creating rotation of the plasma therein. Rotation of the plasma around its axis induces a self-generated magnetic field, which in turn increases plasma stability and confinement. Some of the said stages of the multi-stage arrangement may be created by physical elements and components while others may be induced or generated by externally applying magnetic and/or electric fields or their combinations and/or by injection of electrons, ions or other plasma.
