Abstract: The innovation disclosed and claimed herein, in one aspect thereof, comprises systems and methods of eliminating blind spots in a network system. The systems and methods generate synthetic transactions across a network system and capture at least part of the generated synthetic transactions. The systems and methods determine parts of the synthetic transactions that were not captured and generate a logical security map of the network system based on the captured synthetic transactions. The systems and methods determine at least one blind spot in the logical security map of the network system and determine a solution to eliminate the at least one blind spot. The systems and methods implement the solution for the network system to eliminate the blind spot.

Abstract: An instrument system that includes an elongate instrument body and an optical fiber sensor is provided. The optical fiber sensor includes an elongate optical fiber that is coupled to the elongate instrument body, wherein a portion of the optical fiber is coupled to the elongate instrument body in a manner to provide slack in the fiber to allow for axial extension of the elongate instrument body relative to the optical fiber.

Abstract: A shape sensing system comprises a processor coupled to a memory storage device and a predictive model module stored in the memory storage device and configured to receive shape sensing measurements and predict next shape sensing measurements based upon current state data for a shape sensing enabled device, the predictive model module including a Kalman filter and at least one reference model employed by the Kalman filter. The Kalman filter employs the reference model(s) and the current state data to predict new shape data by weighting the reference model(s) versus the current state data to improve shape data measurements.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a marine structure comprising an external surface (50), a load (2, 20, 21, 22, 25) comprising a light source, said load having a first load terminal (2a) and a second load terminal (2b) adapted to be powered by an AC power source (1), said AC power source (1) having a first AC terminal (1a) electrically connectable to the surface (50) and a second AC terminal (1b), a first electrode (3) electrically connected to the first load terminal (2a), and a dielectric layer (4). Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method receive information regarding a funds transfer from a payor to a payee. The information includes a data payload related to the funds transfer. The information is received by a depository computer system. The depository computer system forwards the information regarding the funds transfer to an account verification service computer system. The information, including the data payload, is transmitted by via the account verification service computer system to the paying bank for use by the payor.

Abstract: A respiratory motion signal generation method operates on emission data (22) of an imaging subject in an imaging field of view (FOV) acquired by a positron emission tomography (PET) or single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging device (10). An array of regions (32) is defined in the imaging FOV without reference to anatomy of the imaging subject. For each region of the array of regions defined in the imaging FOV, an activity position versus time curve (54) is computed from the emission data acquired by the PET or SPECT imaging device. Frequency-selective filtering of the activity position versus time curves is performed to generate filtered activity position versus time curves. At least one motion signal (66) is generated by combining the filtered activity position versus time curves of at least a selected sub-set of the regions.

The differential hysteresis receiver uses two parallel paths in a first receiver stage, each path having a comparator with a dedicated offset on the complimentary inputs. A second receiver stage includes a hold circuit that brings the two parallel paths of the first receiver stage together to form a receiver hysteresis output.

Abstract: Systems and methods for testing software such as webservices and APIs using behavior-driven development (BDD) language are disclosed. Software such as, for example, an Application Programming Interface (API) or webserver is tested using a BDD expression such as, for example, a Gherkin. The Gherkin may be converted into machine-executable code for the test. The machine-executable code may be executed if the software is available. A response output generated by the software may be validated based on validation information of input data. A report based on the validation may be generated.

Abstract: A method of reducing interference in a communication system supporting multiple radio channel communication scheme, where a communication link can be established between a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter first determines interference level at the transmitter, and then based on the determined interference level, performs link adaptation. The link adaptation comprises applying channel bundling for adapting the communication link so as to transmit simultaneously on at least two radio channels from the transmitter to the receiver.

Abstract: Provided is a manner of determining a performance indicator score for an entity. A method includes identifying a set of result indicators that contribute to a target result for a defined process. The set of result indicators include a first result indicator, a second result indicator, and a third result indicator. The method also includes determining a first score for the first result indicator, a second score for the second result indicator, and a third score for the third result indicator. Further, the method includes applying a first weight to the first score, a second weight to the second score, and a third weight to the third score. A master performance indicator score is determined based on a combination of the first score, the second score, and the third score as a function of the first weight, the second weight, and the third weight.

Abstract: Various examples are directed to computer-implemented systems and methods for next generation financial account assistance. The method includes receiving a request from a primary account holder to provide a first limited permission for a secondary member to access an account of the primary account holder, and receiving a request from the primary account holder to provide a second limited permission for the secondary member to access the account of the primary account holder, where the second limited permission is activated based on one or more conditions selected by the primary account holder. In various embodiments, the method includes using the first limited permission to provide access to the secondary member to the account of the primary account holder for a first time period, and using the second limited permission to provide access to the secondary member to the account of the primary account holder for a second time period.

Abstract: The methods and system allow for the generation of a signcrypted biometric electronic signature token using a subsequent biometric sample after an enrollment of a biometric reference value in a biometric system. The signcrypted biometric electronic signature token involves simultaneous encryption and digital signature to protect the confidentiality. The system as described herein provides data integrity, origin authentication, and efficiency by performing encryption and digital signature simultaneously. The process allows a signcrypting party to enroll in a biometric service, sign a piece of data or content using a public key, that may be tied to a trusted anchor certificate authority, and submit a biometric sample. Subsequently, the relying party may validate the information on that piece of data or content to confirm the identity of the signcrypting party.

Abstract: An ultrasound system (100) and operating method (200) are disclosed in which the system is adapted to receive a sequence (15) of 2-D ultrasound image frames (150) of a prenatal entity from an ultrasound probe (14) and, for each image frame in said sequence, control the display device to display the received image frame; attempt to segment the image frame for recognition of an anatomical feature of interest (151) of said prenatal entity in said image frame; and accept the image frame for further processing upon recognition of said feature, said further processing comprising: determine a geometric property of the recognized anatomical feature of interest for each accepted image frame; and control the display device to display the determined geometric properties of the accepted image frames in said sequence with each displayed image frame. The system can include input/output logic configured to receive, from the ATM, deposit information and an event indicator value corresponding to an interaction between the customer and the ATM; confidence score generating logic configured to analyze the deposit information received from the ATM and to determine a confidence score related to an amount of the deposit based on the analysis; and a risk-decisioning system including funds availability logic configured to calculate an availability value based on the event indicator and the confidence score. The risk-decisioning system can be configured determine that the availability value is greater than an availability threshold, and to responsively make an amount of funds available to the customer for withdrawal at the ATM.

This data includes links to source code in a version control system (VCS) and security scans. A processor creates a task and adds the task to an application processing queue. The application retrieves security scan data from security tools. The application retrieves production scan data from the VCS, The processor compares the security scan data with the production scan data; determines, based on comparing, whether the security scan data includes new vulnerability data that is not currently included in the production scan data; and automatically transmits an electronic notification to a code developer device when it is determined that the security scan data includes new vulnerability data and that the task needs resolution.
